Writing task 2

Computer plays a major role in today's world hence; they need to be used for teaching students in schools. But it can be a risk to the students for relying on the computers entirely. Both views will be discussed below.

Firstly, Technology plays an essential role in today's modern life. Similarly, a student can learn many things in a innovative way. And, introducing software (like PowerPoint) for teaching and learning purposes in schools can be a ground breaking achievement. To exemplify, during the pandemic of 2020, most of the schools/universities were closed and were conducting online classes through video chat software like Zoom, Skype. In today's world, if technology was not so advanced, students around the world would have lost almost a year due to the pandemic.

On the contrary, fully depending on computers can carry a measure of uncertainty as well. For example, if teacher wants to give a MS PowerPoint presentation for teaching purposes, sometimes technical issues may arise during classes. Hence, this leads to times loss for both the teacher and students too. In addition, looking at a screen all day can be hazardous for the student's health of any age. Also, Plagiarism is easier in assignments due to availability of internet where details can be copied and pasted very quickly. Thus, this kind of activity is often found in teenagers nowadays who are too lazy to present their own assignment.

To sum up, it seems like computers are a good idea to be used in classrooms challenging the traditional blackboard style but there are still some downsides to it. In my opinion, the pros of using technology outweighs the cons. Therefore, using computers for teaching purposes can be a very innovative idea.
