Writing Task 1

This diagram presents the information about the process of making carbonated drinks.

At stage 1, the raw water from the source is subjected to a filtering process. It goes through the water softener and chemicals to have the initial purification. Prior to proceed in Stage 2, the purified water enters in to a pump. At stage 2, heating evaporation and carbonation is conducted. At this stage 1st the pumped water is boiled by electric heaters and then send to the tank of Carbon Dioxide for carbonation through the cooling pipe. The carbonated water is going to the mixing tank through the pipe system to proceed with the 3rd stage. The mixing process is conducted in the 3rd stage and as a result, the colouring, syrup, and flavours are removed from the mixing water. Stage 4 initiates with the 2nd filtering process. Properly filtered water is filled in to bottles and cannes at stage 4. At the final stage, the filled water bottles and cannes are packed and delivered to supermarkets for selling.

Some people think that outdoor activities are more beneficial for children’s development than playing computer games. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

There is a debate over conducting outdoor activities for children in the society. The opinion of some of the community is that these outdoor practices are very much useful for the betterment of children compared to playing computer games.

I totally agree with this opinion. There are few reasons for that. I see some advantages of outdoor activities which can't be taken from any other way. Outdoor activities are very much connected with the environment. The bond of the environment of children provides many qualities such as sensitivity, creativity and etc. This helps to improve the children's attitudes in a positive manner. A calm environment can teach children many lessons that can't be taken from thousand books.

Another fact is that while playing outdoor, children don't play alone. They get into groups and perform their activities. They can learn from other many things. It will be helpful for them to improve their personal skills, communication skills, and so on. They will learn how to respect the views of others, how to interact with others and etc. Even though outside activities might not be conducted in a safer environment, this will be a positive impact on children to learn about how to protect themselves in the society. They will learn from the failures and practice to face and overcome from challenges. Outdoor activities provide many practical aspects of learning. Even the knowledge about technology can be taken from the books, how to use those technical aspects in a practical manner will be reached to children through these outdoor sessions. Therefore, outdoor activities can make the children who are rich with good social, attitudinal qualities.

Moreover, the above-mentioned advantages can't be taken from the playing computer games. Computer games limit the children's to a particular space. They can't feel others. They only aim to win the games with their familiarity with the technology. And also they become just like robots, who just can work with particular technology due to continuous practice. Other thing is that children may get addicted to these computer games and that will be the end of their academic life. Another thing is that children may mislead by several bad influences in the internet while they are playing. Those bad influences may get the chance to brainwash those children which can badly influence the future of the children.

Hence, due to the aforementioned reasons, it can be deduced that outdoor activities are more beneficial for children's development compared to playing computer games.
