Dear neighbor.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but I am sure at the end of this letter you will understand the reason behind it.

Over the past days, I've been trying to fix my house, I had issues with my water installation system, it leaked water all over the place, I had to dry of the floor more than five times a day, it water canal was so old and faulty, that it only got the situation worse, so I had to call my plumber, he came home yesterday to check the issue, and he said he will be coming again tomorrow for the initial repairment, yes initial repairments, because he stated that he has never seen such an old water system and he had to undergo some very complex work. This morning he came with all his required tools (driller, saw, and a bunch of handtools) he started working very early this morning due to his very busy schedule, to be honest, I was very lucky to get him to come to fix my house today, he first said he will come in a week as he had so many clients calling him every day, and I was at the bottom of the list of his priorities, but as he saw that I do live alone, and I had to dry the floor so many times per day, he showed me a little bit of kindness and finally decided to hit me up in the very early morning, so that he will continue on his list of clients.

The noise coming from my house was the loud noise of his driller and saw machine, he took down all the actual installation and replaced it with a newer and high tech advanced one, according to him this will be a very nice setup that will last for at least 50 years, he said that but to me, just make it 20, it would be fair enough. he finished his work at 9 am, got paid and left the house, now I'm happy to see the result, no faulty pipes, no leaks, everything functions like a charm and it's really beautiful.

My dear neighbor, I'm very sorry for the inconveniences, and all I had to endure for you this morning and the past few days, I know having a neighbor who leaks water into your ceiling is not cool, but I'm sure this time it's all fixed and we will finally go on to continue our normal routine life.

Our daily life is conquered by advertisements, everywhere we go, we feel like they are following us and spamming us, on TVs, phones, computers, newspaper, it's everywhere!

Their utility and goal are simple, they try their best to promote their products and insist on people to buy it, but their methods are the worse part of their system, sometimes we find ourselves watching commercial ads on tv 2 to 3 times in a row in less than 5 minutes, just before our favourite show begins and another 2 or 3 more at the end of the show, (without mentioning, all the boring ads in the commercial break of any tv channel's content).

Sometimes it's good, why? because there are a lot of valuable products in the market that is really interesting and helpful to people's lives but lack attention or popularity for them to buy, let's talk about a useful example, the stair chair lift for elders, this product is really interesting and it has a very nice will behind it, it makes life easier for old people who can't go anywhere they want in their homes, the number of commercials related to this kind of product or related is extremely small, we can barely see them on tv or newspapers.

Now the turn to give an example of very bad use of a product advertisement is to talk about Youtube, when we do watch a video, we want to enjoy our time browsing and watching our favourite videos, but we find ourselves most of the time running from ads breaks, and hitting the skip now button, because these ads don't know when to stop, Youtube's algorithm just keeps pushing them at us, because all they do care about is making money, and when you are the only video entertainment platform in the world, it brings you power, and with power, you can make as much many as you desire, and the user's experiences are the last thing you care about.

With ads floods, we find ourselves buying things we literally do not need in our life, sometimes, we just buy the hype, a product that just came in and revolutionizes the advertisements placements will obviously sell well because we are human beings, we get easily influenced, and when we see our friends, relatives or neighbors buy a new gadget or clothes, we always tend to do the same in order to feel superior or to attract a little bit of attention to ourselves, but we all know that the hype is the only thing in the world that has no chances to endure and last, it sometimes get around us for few days up to months, and then adios, so we find ourselves with a dead product bought that has no meaning at all and now will be thrown to trash or hidden in the attic for future discovery by your future grandsons.

I really think that commercials are the best way to promote a product and for us to know their existence, but only when they are done properly, no lies no hype or a dream sold.
