Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

The unsolved poverty in poor countries is often viewed as because of not giving enough types of help, specifically focusing too much on giving money. This essay agrees with the argument that developed countries need to promote other forms of help besides financial aid.

One of the main reasons why poor countries should be given other help as well as financial aid isn't enough to resolve the cause of poverty issues. Poverty issues don't just come from being underpaid, it's also from unemployment, mental health issues, and many more factors. An instance of this is Vietnam during the year of 1945. At that time, Vietnam had just gotten its independence after years of fighting for peace, and shortly after poverty issues arose. However, the main cause is not just having a nearly empty financial background, but rather a famine exploded and lots of individuals lost the ability to work and earn a living. Therefore, financial help is far from sufficient to resolve poverty issues.

On the other hand, supporting other types of help gives other benefits that financial aid doesn't have. For instance, education aids promote education, which strengthens educational backgrounds then consequently increases the chance of getting a higher position at work. One of the most notable impacts of this aid is Vietnam. The education aid from the USSR after 1945 improved Vietnam's educational system by a lot, which gave birth to lots of talent in Vietnam. Consequently, it boosted Vietnam's economy and put an end to poverty in Vietnam

In conclusion, this essay supports the idea that aside from financial help, other types of help should be given to poor countries as well so that poverty can be resolved.
