Writing Task 1

the bar chart shows some changes in the percentage of people born in Australia as well as outside Australia living in cities, towns, and rural areas between 1995 and 2010.

in 1995, the chart shows the percentage between people born in Australia that are living in cities and rural areas to be less by 10% than those who were born outside Australia with a total of 50% and 30% respectively and 60% and 40% for the latter. while, the percentage was 10% more for people who were born in Australia and living in towns with a total of 20%.

on the other hand, in 2010, the chart shows an increase in people born outside of Australia and living in cities with a total percentage of 80%, a little decline for people living in towns about 5% and for people born in Australia was 10%, while showing a massive decrease in people living in rural areas compared to 1995 with people born in Australia to be 10% and those who were born outside to be less than 5%.

in total, the chart can tell there was an increase in people living in cities compared to other places over time and the percentage is quite close for both people who were born in Ausrtalia and outside Australia.

Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

rich countries sometimes help other countries in need with money, it may seem like an effective method to the poorer countries but it might not be always a good way to help.

developed rich countries have a lot of resourcers that make it powerful and rich compared to poorer countries, be it its natural resources such as oil, gas, gold, food or even the industry that runs inside it. thus, I agree with the statement that developed countries should use other ways of help than financial aid to poor countries.

some poor countries suffer from famine due to the lack of food resources that make people hungry so, giving food to the poor country in this case is much more beneficial than any other type of help, same goes whith poor countries that suffer from pandamics, money can not do much in such cases so giving medical aids in these situations is more ideal.

although they say money can buy anything, poor countries might not have the advantage of using the money to help its people from poverty and at the same time to boost its economy to let the country stands on its feet a little, so in such cases other aids is needed beside money since money is not everything.

In conclusion, while some poor countries may be poor due to debts and money from rich countries might help to solve poverty in this situation, other poor countries are poor due to many other reasons that money can not do much to help, so in order to help in a beneficial way, rich country should try to study the root of the problem that caused the poverty in the poor country and help according to that in the best and useful way possible.
