Task 1
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
The bar chart below describes some changes about the percentage of people were born in Australia and who were born outside Australia living in urban, rural and town between 1995 and 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.

The two bar charts present the population of Australian people born within and outside the country in different settlements. In 1995, the number of people born in cities and rural areas, outside Australia was higher than people born in their home country. On the other hand, people born in towns is higher in Australia than outside it. This could be due to cities outside the country having more opportunities and citizens travelling more often. In 2010, the highest birth rate was outside the country rather than inside because of improved chances of immigration and better facilities in their lives. The number of births decreased in towns and rural areas outside Australia in 2010 as people probably moved into the cities for work or educational purposes. The birth population in towns and countryside are similar in Australia while people born in rural places outside the country had the lowest birth population.
Task 2
You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
You should write at least 250 words.
The more financial stability a country has, the more it can offer aid to other poor countries like providing money so that their lack of facilities such as education and food can be solved. Gaining financial help can assist in the growth of opportunities. Financial support is crucial when bringing basic needs into their lives, for example, people can use the money to create hospitals for the sick and elderly or create educational programs for children and adults who were not able to gain knowledge in their lives. It can also help the government to provide better opportunities for its citizens.
Now, given that having support from a rich country can help ease some issues in a poor country, it does not solve the big problem which is "poverty". Poverty is an underlying problem that a lot of poorer countries can't solve even if given financial support by others and that is because it needs to be able to provide for themselves. A lack of education, work, home and food makes living difficult. Rather than richer countries giving only money, they should also help establish permanent solutions so that in the future, those poor countries can stand on their own and develop into better nations. Creating laws that help give people better healthcare and medicines, better institutions and more work opportunities in many different departments. This will eventually help improve their society and way of life.
Overall, I believe richer countries should try to help poorer countries in many different ways so that those countries can thrive by themselves and work their way into becoming a developing country.
