This may be a consequence of higher living standards and literacy rates, which would provide better employment opportunities for the locals.

Coming over to the people living outside Australia, most of the immigrants come in search of employment options that are higher in cities. This is a major reason for the high urban population. In 1995, people with skilled occupations also chose to settle in rural areas. However, this percentage has dropped significantly amidst the national policies towards skilled workers. The town population stays low throughout.

To sum up, better living standards, opportunities for employment, health, and education have contributed to the urbanization of the population. Attempts are needed to assure that rural life and it's value, particularly in the area of food production, are conserved.

I agree with the statement that the financial help given to poorer countries by rich countries does not help in elevating poverty or resolving major issues.

This occurs primarily because of the high corruption margin in the governing class of the poorer countries, which avoids or tends to avoid the use of these financial resources from being spent on development and productive projects that have the potential to create employment, boost the standard of living for local people and yield economic benefits for the country. Other reasons may also include a lack of local interest in national affairs, which may be because the citizens are too naive to understand the politics or are too busy finding the daily bread to pay attention to what is happening around the country.

A strategy that rich countries should use to help poorer countries is to invest in resources. This may be by opening a factory with local hiring, investing in the education and healthcare sectors or initiating economically beneficial development projects that have the capacity to create employment opportunities. Once the cognitive standard of the locals is elevated, the country will be in better hands to handle the financial investments.

In my opinion, raising the literacy and standards of the poorer countries is not only a resolution to their problems but also a significant challenge. The resistance to change and lack of governmental interest in an attempt to save personal leisure are significant steps to overcome. This can be resolved by indebting the country to such a level that it cannot deny any proposals for investments and then starting from a root level. However, this step requires dedication from rich countries, often in the hope of favors.
