Overall, the results of deforestation would lead to flooding as well as less biodiversity. The former is usually caused by heavy equipment used for logging and the latter is usually caused by fewer roots, burning woods and fewer plants.

Firstly, heavy logging equipment causes the soils to be compacted and baked. This would make the rainwater to flow into low-lying areas and causes flooding.

Secondly, Fewer roots would mean that there is fewer anchorage of the soils that prevent soils erosion. Furthermore, deforestation also increased the risk of forest fire which lead to the death of microorganism that feeds on waste wood. Moreover, lesser plants would lead to less respiration which would disrupt the natural cycle of precipitation making it less rainy and more drought. All of these negative effects ultimately degrade the vegetation as new species move in resulting in less biodiversity.

In this modern world, it is true that many workplaces have adapted to online communication more than a traditional face to face meeting. In my opinion, the transition to online communication has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Online communication can be done through many types of works such as business, teachers or office worker. Firstly, online communication such as Skype or Email has allowed people to do business with people from other countries without ever meeting them in real life. Secondly, teachers can also take advantage of video call program such as Zoom to teach their students. The use of video call program may be beneficial as the teacher can just work at the comfort of their home. Lastly, people who work at the office can communicate with their colleagues with an instant messaging application such as Whatsapp. These type of applications have a benefit of instantly communicate with their colleague even if they are at a different location or even different countries. Moreover, technological advanced have also improved whereby using online communication can be as good as meeting face to face.

However, the ability to use online communication to communicate with other people may have detrimental effects on individuals social skills. People who rely on online communication may isolate themselves from real interaction. An example would be students who primarily use online communication tool for learning. The students may learn the content of the topics being taught but not the social skills involved from interacting with the teachers.

In conclusion, online communication is useful on many occasion, but it should not hinder people from communicating face to face.
