Writing Task 1

In the bar chart, the percentage of the total world population in four countries is shown for 1950 and 2002 along with the projections for 2050. In India, the world's population is supposed to be high in 2050 but if we look at China and Japan it is decreasing while the USA has a constant population percentage like 2002.

In 1950, the population was high in 3 countries (China, the USA, and Japan) but it was literally low in India. In 2002, Japan had almost 3 percent of the world's population, the USA had 5 percent, India had 16 percent and China had 20 percent, which was the highest. As the bar chart explains, in 2050, Japan will contribute 2 percent, the USA 5 percent, China 15 percent, and India will contribute almost 17 percent to the world's population. Overall in India, the population raise with time and in the other 3 countries it decreases with time.

Task 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

The use of social media is replacing face-to-face interaction among many people in society. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

You should write at least 250 words.

Social media use is vanishing our face-to-face interactions in society. Almost all folks use mobile phones nowadays. Nobody is unaware of social media. Even a 5-year child knows how to use social media. As in daily routine people use mobile phones in front of their children.

Everything has some disadvantages along with its advantages. Social media is an important part of life as people are now well aware of their surroundings and long-distance areas due to social media. But people have started to avoid other people and only want to connect them with social media, not face-to-face.

Like in homes, the family gathers for dinner but almost all family members eat dinner chatting or scrolling on social media and when dinner ends every member went to their rooms.

Everyone is used to social media nowadays. Even a child does not want to play with friends. They just want to chat on social media. We know there are many advantages of social media but folks are instead of helping people just making videos and post those on social media for more followers. Everyone wants to be famous. A man with his family who is laying down on the road with a heavy rock on it needs some help, but folks instead of helping him just make a video of that landslide accident and post it on social media.

What is this we are transferring to our generation? Use social media for some good purposes not for some jokes and it makes people away from each other. There is no face-to-face interaction between people. People only use social media day and night and not talking to people that are in front of them. They just want to chat on social media not in personnel.

I disagree with the statement that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages,
