While many people go to university for academic study, more people should be encouraged to do vocational training because there is a lack of qualified workers such as electricians and plumbers. Do you agree or disagree?
You should write at least 250 words.
With the recent rapid developments in the field of technology and diverse curriculum, it is becoming more important to pursue the best possible academic knowledge. Over the years, people have moved from traditional job opportunities to now looking for more diveresed and well structued jobs which has resulted as lack of vocational training. Many knowledge experts have debated over the time to raise the importance of getting proper academic study over vocational training to which i agree.
Modern day students have started to not only learn from their textbooks and performing all those old aged practicals, but they have started to optimise the all day routine work which is a very big exmaple to potray the importance of getting good academic study. The recent developments in the academic study has moved the curriculum towards more practical based approach which has already enabled the individual to lookafter the other voacational based work.
If an individual is directed towards getting a field based vocational training such as the training for becoming an electrician - this would result in limiting his/her mental capability and making it more resistant towards exploring more new sets of learning areas, though in our society there is a dare need of vocational workers but with the time, technology will over take all those man processed work and only the individual that would be familiar to the modern changes in technology would be able to survive in this fast paced environment.
It is very important to create awareness amongst the individuals towards highlighting the significance of proper and best academic study becasue that would serve as the tool for an individual to survive in this fast paced environement.
