The three plans illustrate the changes of a ground floor in a building from the period 1958 to the present. Overall, we can see that the floor had begun as an office and ended up as a flowershop today.
To begin with the office plan, the floor was devided into seven small areas including the kitchen, toilet, reception area and four adminstrative offices.
As the floor changed to be an apartment, we notice that it had been broken down to five divisions, with the toilet being enlarged to include a shower space , three rooms and the kitchen keeping the same space.
When the floor finally turned to a flowershop, only four areas were occupied; giving more space to the flowers to be presented to the customers.
It is interesting to note that kitchen area has been maintained over the three plans along with the entrance position. The changes have been made over this period of time are clearly related to changes of needs for every different place.
