Writing Task 1

The given illustraton represents information about effects occuring as a result of deforastation. It canbe clearly seen that, there are 4 side effects which lead to 2 main consequences as flooding and loss of biodiversity.

Firstly, soil which is compressed under pressure of heavy equipment becomes hard and 'baked'. Resultant soil affects rain water which runs off and results in flooding. Secondly, cutting forests contributes to decreasing of roots which hold soil. As a result, collected soil undergoes erosion which then have effect on degradation process of vegetation quality. Thirdly, there is high risk of burning including delibarate and unexpected situations. Also, waste of wood when logging destroyed and microorganisms which feeds on this waste leads to loss of vegetations condition. Finally, because of the fact that plants are not returning enough moisture to air, there is a less precipation and increased level of drought. In addition to erosion and burning, this condition also have effect on vegetation and contributes to loss of biodiversity.
