Some people think that job satisfaction is more important than job security, while some people think that they cannot always expect job satisfaction, a permanent job is more important. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

You should write at least 250 words.

The job satisfaction of an individual is suggested to be a more significant concept than simply obtaining employment. However, some argue that job security is more valuable since work satisfaction is not a permanent state. From my perspective, I believe that professional contentment is more important than job security.

On one hand, some individuals assert that the long-lasting nature of a job is of greater importance. They argue that work satisfaction is fleeting and can change over time. Logically, having a secure job can provide stability, particularly during times of illness when one cannot return to work immediately. Additionally, benefits such as retirement pensions, bonuses, and health insurance are crucial and valuable, particularly as one gets older. Therefore, securing a job does bring comfort to one's life.

On the other hand, those who prioritize professional fulfillment argue that it brings a sense of accomplishment to one's life, and I concur. Put simply, not doing something that one has spent their life learning or excels in is frustrating. This can hinder professional development, limiting skills and grow in their field. For instance, if an athlete were to do something other than sports, it would harm their career. Furthermore, this lack of professional satisfaction can spill over into one's personal life, leading to financial and professional turmoil. Ultimately, this can lead to abnormal behavior and mental instability in society. Thus, professional contentment is crucial for leading a balanced and happy life.

In conclusion, while opinions may vary, having job satisfaction and professional success is necessary for a fulfilling career, rather than merely focusing on job security.
