Task 2

Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

Cultivated nations are commonly known for ensuring financial support to penniless countries. However, this way of treatment does not always help decrease poverty level and thus, it is disputed that less rich countries must be provided with an auxiliary form of aid which will help them in the long run. In this essay, I will discuss about the reason why developing countries can be better off from such aid procurement and the types of help offered.

First of all, developed countries giving money for poorer nations will not solve long-term problems, it will only help citizens in those countries avoid short-term issues. Circumstantially, people in undeveloped countries gain money from those assistances, after which they spend on interim issues. For instance, last decade, countries such as USA and Japan sorted out the shortage of exchequer in unaffluent states but few years later, it was revealed that support was short-dated and unfortunately, they proceeded poorly.

Apart from that, developed countries should fund in education and healthcare instead of donating to other countries. Since the young people have received an excellent education, everybody has significant opportunities to due medical treatment, and this will help avoid unemployment problems and put end to the suffering from unlawful activities. So, developed countries must be of use in building superior schools, universities and hospitals. Moreover, they can help stabilize the government in those countries and calculate whether the political environment is contributory to growth. Although money helps feed the hungry lot, it is only a temporary solution.

In conclusion, I agree with the opinion that rich countries should provide practical assurance to improvise the economic status of developing countries. However, financial assistance can only help to a certain extent and is not the definite way to get rid of poverty.
