The diagram shows a building plan of a 2010 student hostel and what it is now.
Overall, the plan depicts the transformation of the hostel from less populated one with much garden to a more populated one with more bedrooms for students and less garden.
In 2010, the building had more areas for gardens around the accommodation and just 3 bedrooms. There was a living room, where students could sit and watch television. In addition to that, it never had a car park or en-suite room. The bathroom, kitchen and hallway maintained their positions.
However, currently the design has changed to accommodate more bedrooms. The living room is replaced by a bed room. It still maintains the kitchen and hallway but the kitchen is no longer just a kitchen, it is also a social area and the hallway is shorter. Now some part of the the hallway has been converted to an en-suite room to an adjacent bedroom. In addition, the building was extended forward into the garden in front to create space for a bedroom and the garden behind has been converted to a car park. The bathroom is still its place.
Living in big cities is thought to be bad for the health of the people. In my opinion, I disagree to a large extent because city life exposes one to civilization and better care of one's health through available and sophisticated healthcare services.
First of all, I must say that living in the village or suburb is quite nice and peaceful as the environment is usually green and the atmosphere is fresh with less pollution. Secondarily, a lot of gardening or agricultural activities can take place with cheap meals from locally produced foodstuffs. Notwithstanding, big cities provide greater and better options of foodstuff both local and intercontinental, which are helpful for healthy living. Further more, the big city gives better options for education with better equipped schools and well motivated teachers. It is important to note that educated people tend to take better care of their health than illiterates. In addition, the healthcare services are in the big city are also more advanced and sophisticated than in the small city, suburbs or village, so the people's health are better taken care of when they fall sick than those in the villages or small cities.
Undoubtedly, big cities provide various places for exercise and wellbeing, which are usually lacking in a village or suburb. These places help the city dwellers to keep fit and healthy. Lastly, the big cities provide better opportunities to earn better living and earn bigger salaries, which helps them live a healthier life and afford good and costly health services.
In conclusion, big city life gives better health to the people with all the available facilities and amenities it provides to improve their wellbeing and cannot be compared with the limited options for healthy lifestyle of a small city, suburb or village.

The above plan illustrates the accommodation of students building in the year 2010 and at present.
overall, it is clearly evident that there is significant increase in students bedroom and also, there is car parking available in the building.
First of all, in the year 2010 the space allocated for garden is large and spreads across the building, whereas in the new plan the garden space is limited to back side of the building. Secondly, in the kitchen area the space is also modified and can use as a social area.
In present plan, they have increased the bedrooms for students and also a new room is allocated named En-suite room which is next to hallway. In addition, they have create a parking space for the students where in the old plan there is no record of car parking
The given plans illustrate that difference between student old accommodation building and newly constructed accommodation building in 2010.
May new factures has been added in new accommodation building such as car parking and suite room.
Back in the 2010 there was on car parking available in student housing. Number of students bed room was only 3 back in the days which has changed now new accommodation now has 5 bed rooms for student. one of the student room even has a spical en suite room attached to it. Now kitchen area is not only used for cooking but also as social area but the back drop of all this new renewed student accommodation is it has less garden space.
There are some pros and cons of both new and old accommodation. But the new accommodation has more function to it with the additional accommodation space and car parking space Its more functional.

At this day and age, it is becoming quite evident that more and more people are crowding urban areas - especially the bigger cities. Others believe that this has a negative impact on people's well-being. In this essay, I will explain why I completely agree that residing in big cities can indeed affect people's health because of certain factors like lifestyle and pollution.
One of the many reasons why some individuals argue that living in the metropolis is bad for one's health is because of the stress that comes from work pressures. It is no surprise that the cost of living in cities is much more expensive compared to that in small towns or of rural areas. This is why more people take on more than one job to sustain their daily needs and expenses despite having quite enough on their plates already, consequently causing mental and physical stress. Another known factor that has taken a toll on people’s lives is traffic congestion. Commuters are sure to experience this issue starting from long queues for busses or whatever means of public transportation to being stuck in traffic for several hours before reaching a certain destination. Some might even say that it is a lot more exhausting than their actual jobs.
Personally, I completely agree that when living in major cities, lifestyle can also negatively affect someone’s well-being. Studies show that people in cities have a more active social life-drinking alcohol and partying more frequently than they should, as influenced by peers. When in moderation, this can be quite negligible, but when it becomes a habit and done at the expense of rest, can cause detrimental effects on health. In addition, pollution, which is many times much worse in cities, is another contributing factor. With poor air quality due to vehicle emissions, noise pollution, and polluted water brought about by ineffective waste management, people are getting sicker and more prone to illnesses as compared to how the environment was in cities back in the day. Hence, lifestyle and people’s living in polluted city areas are not good for the health.
In conclusion, while I do think that living in large cities is not entirely a bad idea, due to potential health risks associated with it, I certainly agree why some believe that staying in large cities can be harmful to people's general physical and emotional condition. This essay explained how certain factors like lifestyle and pollution affects it so.
The diagrams display the layout of a certain student dormitory in 2010 and current period. It also show the modifications made to improve such building.
Overall, it was evident that while the area of the structure and it's interior mostly stayed the same, several improvements where made including the replacement of the gardens and living room to student bedrooms and car parking. In addition, an En-suite room was also built.
In 2010, the plan demonstrates a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and only 3 student bedrooms. There were also a display of a few gardens on the north, south, and northwestern side of the building.
On the other hand, in order to accommodate more students, a few alterations were made on the current plan of the building as the previously seen garden on the northwest as well as its adjacent living room were now transformed into student bedrooms, making it 5 in total. Next, right across the main entrance, along the hallway, a small En-suite room was also added. Lastly, a parking area can now be observed on one side of the building as it replaced what used to be a garden.
The following figures illustrate the floor plan of recent amendment of a student apartment compared to the one in 2010.
Generally, the current floor plan is in square shaped with additional car parking adjoining to the facade of the apartment where the main entrance is located nearby. Most of the rooms remained the same as 2010 while some new partitions are added to create new rooms and some rooms are modified to suit the change in use of functionality.
A new student dorm is constructed in place of the garden which is located next to the living room in 2010. The living room is also amended into another student bedroom to accomodate more students. Furthermore, an additional ensuite room is provided in the current floor plan which is located along the hallway and just infront of the main entrance. Kitchen is also modified into Kitchen and social area whereas other rooms and fuchtionality remained the same. Moreover, the arrangement of rooms remained as original whith rooms placed on two side with a corridor in bewteen.

Nowadays some people ponder that dwelling within big cities has negative effects on people's well and health being. Honestly, in my perspective, I somehow agree with this thoughts as I have been brought up and living in a city for as long as I can remember.
The first problem with staying in the city is the quality of air. As a majority of citizens use vehicles such as bus, cars, moto-cycles, etc. which emit exhaust fumes, the quality of air has been worsen over the period of time. Since these exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide and other harmful gases, people who dwell in the cities are more prone to lung illnesses and some other respiratory-related diseases.
Another dilemma is with the food. Fast food are common in the city in which the food such as burgers, and french-fries are considered as junk food. On one hand, such food help people to save time from home cooking and can be taken to anywhere for consumption. On the other hand, these food are oily and heavily seasoned and therefore can lead to obesity and other health related issues like high blood pressure, high-cholestrol, diabetes type-2 and coronary heart disease.
Overuse of electrical devices, for example tablets, computers, and mobile phones, are also affecting peoples' health within the city. As Wifi and data connections are stronger in the city than in countryside, it helps people to have their work done efficiently and rapidly. However, prolong on-screen time can have negative impact to health, our eyes do not have time for rest. Over time, this can result an increase in eye pressure and damage our eye sight.
In conclusion, I believe living in cities can affect people's health in daily life. The major factors encompass poor air quality, consumption of junk food, and prolong use of electrical devices.
