The diagram illustrates a few developments made in the plant of the museum over a period from 1998 to 2008.
Overall, the museum at present has totally reconstructed and added a few more amenities to the plan.
In 1998 the museum had an only garden as the centre of attraction with a café on the upper side and on the southwest corner, there is a temporary exhibition room right beside the entrance /exit where the tickets counter is located whereas in the southeast the museum has a shop which is attached with washroom and space for bags and coats. The main area on both the left and right sides is permanent exhibition rooms.
Meanwhile, after a decade in 2008 lots of infrastructure development were made in the museum as the northwest area has a restaurant now while the temporary exhibition room moved right next to the garden which is surrounded by fountains at the bottom and the upper area of the garden has café sitting area with a new café which is a lot smaller compared to the previous one which attached with washrooms is on the eastern part of the museum is now completely occupied with permanent exhibition rooms while shop, bag and coats are on right side of entrance and exit where tickets counter is located.

Translator application these days provides a myriad of convenience. However, some believe that knowing an additional language is still substantially beneficial although there are numerous translation programs available. I completely agree with this viewpoint as people can interact and respond instantly with other nations and learning another language inspires students to study abroad. In the following paragraphs, the reasons to support my opinion will be outlined.
People can communicate with foreigners much more effectively and rapidly, which means some words are needed to know exactly since the translator is not always accurate. This may lead to misunderstandings between them. In addition, using the translator app means people need to type what they think before having a conversation with others, which wastes an amount of time in typing. For example, a student is confused about a foreign teacher's lecture and wants to ask him but cannot speak his mother tongue, he then uses a translation program while a teacher is now leaving the class. Eventually, that student is unable to ask him because of the slowness of program.
Moreover, students nowadays are motivated to study overseas, and the additional language is the main factor in paving their path. It is apparent that a translator application cannot play a vital role in living in other countries, which has meant students have to acquire sufficient communication ability in order to socialize with foreign students and understand the lessons. Thus, knowing another language offers students to experience their life overseas, leading to job opportunities in the future.
In conclusion, this essay discussed that learning a language provides many advantages such as communicating more efficiently and the chance in studying abroad. In my opinion, having sufficient knowledge of another language is significantly useful in various circumstances.
Task1:
---------
The diagram illustrates the renovation of a museum within the time span of 10 years.
In brief, the museum had undergone major remodeling in 2008, where some modern amenities were added and the interior were redesigned.
Regarding the old design in 1998, the permanent exhibition area was situated parallelly to each other, whereas the center area was mainly occupied by a large garden. At the front side of the garden, the entry/exit and ticket booth were situated, and the café was located at the back of the garden. On the lower left corner, besides the entrance/exit, the temporary exhibition room was located. The lower right side was divided among three rooms, a shop, a wc, and a bags and coats point for the visitors to drop and collect their belongings.
After the renovation in 2008, the museum got few amenities. The tickets and entrance/exit was in the same place as before, however the garden was redeveloped. Two fountains were constructed just back of the tickets area, and a cafe sitting area was constructed on the upper left side of the garden. While the permanent exhibition rooms were parallel to each other in both side of the garden in 1998, they were moved to the right side of the museum in 2008. The shop, and bags and coats room were also shifted from their previous position to the lower left side of the museum. The temporary exhibition area was expanded and moved to the middle on the left side. Finally, a new restaurant were constructed on the upper left side museum.
Task:2

There is no doubt that with the advancement of software development, there are plenty of applications available for language translation. With one application, translation to multiple foreign languages could be achieved very easily. Despite of these advantages, translation application could never achieve the benefits of having command in a foreign language. I completely agree with this view and in this essay I will support my view with examples.
There are many benefits of learning a foreign language. When communicating with others, we need to understand as well as express ourselves instantly, which is not possible with translation applications. For example, in business meeting between clients whose languages are different, translation application will have very little value, because both parties have to understand each other on the go. If the engaging parties do no understand each other's terms and condition, a deal might be broken off. And hence, language barrier can not be solved by translation application.
Not only that, living in a foreign country for job or study also requires command in the language spoken in that particular country. In office or in class, one must understand and express to become successful. For example, if a student is studying in UK, he/she must communicate in English fluently. Although, translation application might help in initial phase, but to become successful, a student or job holder must have to socialize with the local community for every day life. Thereby, learning language is crucial in order to become successful.
To sum-up, although there is no doubt that there are many useful benefits of using translation application, I believe having command in the language, where someone would go for study or migration would have tremendous benefits. Personally, I think we should focus on learning the language for the shake of diversity.
The two pictures compare the layout of a museum in 1998 and 2008 with a plan to redesign the same museum.
In the new design, the areas are arranged according to categories, namely the food and leisure category and the shopping exhibition category, while some new facilities are added. Except there are no changes for Tickets entrance/exit and Permanent exhibition rooms.
In the new design of the museum, the layout in the upper left corner is divided into food and leisure categories, so the new design of the WC transferred from the lower right corner to the right side of the Cafe. Additionally, the Temporary exhibition room moved upside to a larger area, with the Shop and Bag and Coats taking its place.
The new design has added some areas and decorations. A new restaurant has been set up next to the Cafe. The Garden with the largest space divides some places in the upper left corner as a Cafe sitting area, and Fountains are added below the Garden.
The diagrams display a comparison between the layout of a particular museum in 1998 and 2008. It also shows the various amenities of the building and what developments were made.
Overall, it is clear that while there was no further expansion made in the whole area of the museum and the same types of facilities still exist, changes in the building structure were observed in 2008. In addition to the restaurant being built, the most obvious improvement was that the large permanent exhibition rooms were now kept on one side while all other facilities were on the opposite area.
In 1998, the plan of the museum displayed a café, garden, temporary exhibition rooms, tickets entrance/exit, shop, WC and bags and coats area - all of which were situated at the center and lower half of the building. Meanwhile, what occupied most of the space in the building was the permanent exhibition rooms, separated only by a large central garden and café.
10 years later, the structure of the museum was changed as the huge permanent exhibition rooms took almost half of the building's space on one side. The garden was also also developed and added with fountains while to its upper left corner, close to the café, a sitting area can already be seen. Also, a restaurant now sits on the upper most corner of the building, adjacent to the now bigger temporary exhibition room.
The illustration depicts a floor plan of a museum in 1998 and some alterations that were done in 2008.
Overall, the Garden and Entrance/Exit remained the same before and after the changes whereas half of Permanent Exhibition Rooms were replaced into few different spaces.
In 1998, separating both sides of Permanent Exhibition rooms are the cafe and garden. The cafe is located opposite to the Tickets Entrance/Exit while the Garden stood right in the middle of the museum. Adjacent to the Entrance/Exit were Temporary Exhibition Room on the left side and Shop, WC, Bags and Coats to the other side.
Meanwhile, a decade later, a restaurant was built in the far corner just beside the Cafe. Shop, bags, and coats was also relocated to the opposite side and Temporary Exhibition Room was now next to the Garden in which, fountains and cafe sitting area was also added. Lastly, WC was transferred next to the Garden and Cafe giving its space for the extension of Permanent Exhibition Rooms.
Some people thinks that the learning new language is very useful while others argued that there are various software translators available in the market. I think the knowledge of new language will helpful and have numerous benefits.
To begin with, an individual has chance to learn new culture and feel their emotions by learning new language. Furthermore, the second language is helped numerous way such as to get extra credit academic part and practical too. An individual puts it on their resume which help to get job in trading, tourist and marketing fields because of globalization, the people have knowledge of French, Chinese and Japanese for their careers.
The machine translators or software translator could not understand slangs and feeling when they translate one language into another one. For example, if the person is sad during translation time machine cannot read their mind whatever he/she speaks it will convert is however, the physical present of someone makes huge difference during conversation which may give hint to them.
In addition, each language represents culture and tradition. So, if you don’t know the basic information of the country, you cannot connect with the local people. Sometimes the machine does not convey message in proper term which lead misunderstanding that’s why whenever foreign affair meetings are happened, they always used translators for both sides so they can understand properly.
On the other side, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) makes lots of translators in the market but they could not replace human by some extent and their disadvantage. Firstly, emotion and feeling. Secondly, whatever you write or speak they translate whether correct or irrcorrect. Lastly, incontinency of usage at business or academic level.
To conclude, according to me human should learn new language rather rely on machine because they are not reliable for further use.
The given image illustrates a comparison between a museum plan in 1998 and in 2008.
Overall , it can be seen that a plethora of areas have been added in the past 10 years.
Between the two given years , no modification have occured on the location of the entrance , the exit the tickets stand areas as well as the garden in the middle and the cafe on the top. In 2008 , fountains were added to the green space of the art gallery, moreover , a sitting area for visitors have been expanded from the cafe holding a small part of the garden. The shop and the clothing room that was situated in the right side of the entrance in 1998 have occupied the opposite corner on the left, in addition to the toilet that was rebuilt near the cafe in the northern part, consequently, the everyday exhibition chambers have extended occupying the space of the three previous sections. 10 years prior , guests of the exhibition spend less time than in 2008, since the place had solely one cafeshop conversely to 10 years after , when a restaurant was built up on the top left corner of the image .
In contrast to 1998, the room of art exhibited temporarly have been transfered to the center of the plan , exactly on the left side of the garden. Lastely , the two pictures have described the new areas added proving the soar of the number of visitors throughout the years.
Hi guys I am sorry i posted the wrong essay for task 2.
TASK 1
The sketches on the right represent the plan of a museum in the year 1998 and subsequent changes to the plan in the year 2008. At a glance about 4 rooms were added to the museum plan in addition to minimal changes in organisation and aesthetics.
In the year 1998 the museum had one central entrance that led right into the centrally located gardens. Before one got to the gardens were a temporary exhibition room on the left and a shop on the right. Once one was in the middle of the central garden they could access one permanent exhibition room on the left and two permanent exhibition rooms on the right. The museum garden opened into a cafe on the extreme central end of the museum.
The following structural changes were made to the museum plan in 2008. the temporary exhibition area near the entrance was eliminated and replaced with the shop. Two fountains were added to the central garden entrance and sitting area created for the cafe in the top most left corner of the garden. The permanent exhibition rooms on the right of the garden were expanded to cover the area formerly occupied by the shop. This permanent exhibition area was further demarcated into 3 different exhibition rooms.
To the left of the gardens the permanent exhibition area was replaced by temporary exhibition area on the left and a restaurant in the top most left corner adjacent to the cafe.
TASK 2
Like most fields in science and technology the soft ware industry and soft ware language in particular experience significant rapid advancements. As far as I am concerned it is vital for professionals in this field to learn a soft ware language and keep up with the evolution of such languages. However, it is not essential to the regular professional whose work is not actively involved in the industry.
Soft ware developers, computer scientists and even biostastiscians frequently use and manipulate various soft ware languages and packages like javascript , SAS, SSP and STATA in their daily work. These kind of soft ware packages are constantly changing and may be updated annually or biannually. It is therefore critical for this category of professionals to keep abrassed with the various changes in such technology to excel and thrive in the work place.
However, for the professional in a field like medicine, the arts, electrical engineering with other fast paced changes in their own field of speciality to keep up with. It is not necessary to learn such a language. This is because soon after one has familiarized oneself with it, the language can be updated. Therefore in view of time constraints and in the interest of efficiency in their own fields of practice it might be a wise decision to ignore this kind of knowledge as other people are paid to do it anyway.
In a nutshell, while their is no such thing as useless knowledge, I find that professionals in fields and areas of specialization outside software, computer engineering and biostatistics have the option of focusing on learning advances in their own professional fields. This is because learning software language is not a one time event . It is a constant process as one needs to keep up to date with changes. However, if they intend to change careers it is probably a wise decision to learn such a language.

A variety of translation software, such as Babbel, Duo-lingo and others have sprung up in the past decade. Even Google translate is particularly helpful in interpreting foreign language text. Although all these technological advances have made it easier to understand communication from different dialects, they still cannot supercede the convenience that comes in being able to fluently speak or write in a different language.
For one, being fluent in a foreign lingo aids in clear expression of one's opinions, be it in speech or writing. This minimizes the chances of misinterpretation, a common factor when text is auto-converted to a different language through various translation apps. The ability to converse in a foreign language gives the visitor an upper edge in easily forging friendships with people from diverse cultures, especially those of a language he/she has newly grasped. For example, Chinese pupils can easily learn with British students if they are fluent in English, a language hardly used in China.
Secondly, learning a different language increases one's self-awareness, especially if they are in unfamiliar territory. This is because if one resides in a locale in which they are conversant with the local language, they are able to perceive social nuances such as threats, insults and appreciation from the inhabitants. This understanding is crucial for the alien's own personal security and social integration with the society. A case in point is the French Barkhane operation in West Africa. French soldiers had to learn the indigenous languages to be able to pick up military intelligence to neutralize the bandits.
Despite the above merits in mastering a new language, the process is in itself costly and time-consuming. Furthermore not all individuals have the endowment in being adept to pick up new dialects easily. Thus, for people in these latter category, it makes more economical sense to invest in a translator or translation device.
In conclusion, learning a language is both labourious and expensive. However, it opens up new opportunities for friendships across national boundaries and enhances cultural understanding. In my opinion, all people should learn at least one foreign language for both social and career advances.

The images on the left depict the site plans of a museum in 1998 and its state as of 2008. In both images, despite the numerous changes, some facilities remain. These are the Permanent Exhibition Rooms, shop, WC, and ticket stalls situated at the entrance/exit pathway. The new facilities added in 2008 were the Restaurant, fountain and cafe sitting area.
In 1998, the musem had a few facilities but each occupied substantial space. The Permanent Exhibition Rooms occupied the largest floor area and were located on the east and west sides of the museum. The garden, the second largest part of the museum, was situated at the centre of the building.
In 2008, both the above (Permanent Exhibition Rooms and Garden) similarly occupied gigantic flow space. However, several changes including moving the Permanent Exhibition rooms to the east and introducing a sitting area and fountains to the Garden were made. A restaurant was also added. Generally, all facilities except for the Garden present in 1998 had been repositioned throught the Museum complex.
In conclusion, the museum of 2008 offers more recreational services to visitors compared to its previous model in 1998.
