Dear Manager,
My name is David ,I am the group leader of " Star band " musician group, who practices every Tuesday and Friday between 7 to 8 pm in your "Lions Community Hall". It was informed that to us that we will not be able to use the hall anymore.
Our group performs in orchestras, festivals and family events ,etc. Firstly, we give the chance to disabled peoples who have skills but do not get opportunity to show their talent. Secondly, our idea is to generate employment to those who do not get normal jobs .In financial terms, it also helps them to run there family livelihood.
We are using the community hall when there is no other usage hall. This benefits the hall in two ways . Firstly, they can earn money by charging us some fees. Secondly, our group will perform free of cost for any events of the community hall. This will also help to develop name and fame in the locality.
If the reason to stop our practice is due to the time or day which we are using, then my suggestion is to change our schedule as per your convenience as we are flexible with our time.
I will be waiting for your positive feedback.
Yours sincerely
David
Education is an inalienable right of every citizen in any country all over the world. There are different types of educational system. In Europe, some countries are known to encourage children from age 11 or 13 to go to skill acquisition schools to learn practical skills so as to prepare them for the labour market and the real world. Other schools create a system where the children stay in school to learn general academic education.
Invariably, both types of learning are essential for the mental growth and development of any child. It is true that a child with a full knowledge of general academic work, will have broader mind and and an intellectual edge. Such a child will have an idea about many disciplines and this can help them in their career and lives in the future.
However, general academic learning may not be enough to prepare them for the corporate world or to even get a job in the future. Practical skills prepare a child for the future and how to use their academic knowledge to secure good jobs for themselves. With practical skills, a student can graduate from school with an entreneurial mindset and the niche to manage a business.
Therefore, what schools need to do, is to incorporate both types of learning into their curriculum. What this means is that rather than have a full general academic educational curriculum, schools should incorporate as electives or even core courses, practical skills and acquisition courses. This will bring a balance in learning and not leave a student want for any.
Dear sir,
My name is Shakira Young and I am a member of the Happy Life music band. We are a group of musicians who try to use our gifts to glorify God and to help people. We started this group in November, 2009 with the purpose of playing at shows to raise funds for cancer patients in our community. We believe that we have been blessed with talents and it is our duty to give back with our gifts.
We usually practice in the community hall every Tuesday and Friday by 5pm for one hour only. However, we were recently informed at our last practice meeting that it will no longer be possible for my group to use the hall because of the renovations. What we do is a form of public service and I believe that allowing us to continue using the community hall on any other alternative day, is a form of encouragement.
Albeit disappointing, we would like to suggest that you grant us the oppoortunity to meet for our practice on Sundays by 5pm when the renovations will not be taking place. We promise to be orderly and prompt.
Thank you for your attention and I look forward to a favourable response.
Regards,
Shakira Young.
In few parts of Europe, handfull of teens aged 11 or 13 prefer to study in schools to acquire specific day to day competences that assist them to secure a job. On the contrary, other children are more inclined towards textbook education. This essay will discuss the suggested measures that schools can take to train the students for working environment.
First of all, schools can arrange workshops that will help the students to get an overall view of job market. These workshops help understand the students about diiferent challenges that employees face in their working hours. For example, the stress that corporates face when the employer asks them to do extra work than usual on same salary. Failing to do the needful may result in expulsion from the company. So, students need to be trained to handle anxieties in these kinds of diificult situations.
Secondly, schools can plan field trips to different company buildings such as Apple, Microsoft or Google so that children can actually feel what it is like to devote your time to somebody else. These excurtions teach children how to remain disciplined and hardworking in any realm of the world. As a positive result, this help the students to choose their career path and contribute to the betterment of the society.
So in other words, schools are advised to arrange seminars and extra curricular activities to motivate and prepare the students for working culture.
In some countries, in Europe some children from the age of 11 or 13 go to schools to learn more practical skills that will help them to get a job. But, other children stay in school which provides more academic education. What should schools do in this regard? I am explaining in this essay. I think nowadays schools should be more focused on the job curriculum activities. Which have real applications in the job market outside of academic classrooms. Because, in this globalized world, we as teachers and as parents should be more focused on practical education rather than only an academic certificate. Today all over the world, even in third world countries, Even in third world countries every school is adopting this practical curriculum rather than only academic certificates. Because, beyond the academic classrooms it is very necessary to have more job ready skills rather than to have only academic certificates. Today, technology has advanced. So, if we want to equip our school childrens with these technologies, then we have to focus on practical job ready skills. Those have real world applications in the job market. If school does not care about this very important issue then, maximum childrens will not cope with the current job market and in the future they will
be unemployed. Because, nowadays in every job market they require minimum computer skills. In some office, they require more advanced technologically
People finish their job. So in today's world, every school should be more focused on job ready skills.
In conclusion, school should be more focused on practical education rather than only academic education. Because, I think every school should have this curriculum in their syllabus.
Dear manager, I am Saifullah. I am a part of a group of musicians. We were to meet on Tuesday and Friday evening this week. But, unfortunately we are unable to meet on Tuesday and friday. Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Temitope, a member of the Musketeers Music Group. My group use the Guildford Community Hall every Tuesday and Friday evenings between 5pm and 8pm for practice. We have recently being notified of the changes which unfortunately affects our musical group. I am writing this letter to request for a reconsideration to allow the group to keep using the hall.
Musketeers Group is team of four girls and we are into hip pop and soul music intertwined into Afrobeat. We have performed as back-up singers for top artists like Destiny Child, Celine Dion and African music talents like Tiwa Savage, Asa and so on. The group met at a musical audition during a university play and since then we have been inseparable.
In addition, the group has taken up a lot charity events entertainment as the Girl-Child Charity event held in 2021 and 2022. We also sing for free to entertain people at care homes which is our way of giving back into the society. Moreover, our kind of music has brought back life into the community because the African culture is kept alive and being all girls, we have been able to impact positively into young girls as we are seen as role models.
I understand your need to occupy the hall on the days we using but we would like to request alternative days of use for our practice. We are considering either changing the time of these days or we pick different available days that does not impact on the community.
I anticipate a positive feedback on my request.
Yours faithfully,
Tolu Obeisun
There is no doubt that education play a crucial role in developing knowledge and conscious nowadays, There some people encourage children starting from early age should focus on their practical skills. While others, suggest that children have to complete study general academic and become well educated. In this essay, i am going to dicsuss both side of views and draw my personal conclusion.
In terms of first side of views, education in europe have different style and more flexiblitiy than others countries, and it has unique material so that going to grow new skills and make it easy for children to find suitable jobs. For instance, according to toronto newspaper mentioned 80% of children who have multiable skills, they found jobs more easliy. To illustrate, one of requirement jobs in most profitable sectors private or public is to have skills. In fact, many of employers prefer talent employee through bring knowledge and experenices to their company.
On the other hand, there are many people disagree and believe that kid should be stay in school to continue their academic education. For example, academic students have a big chance to be come a teacher in school, university or even in private sector.
In conclusion, it is inevitable to say that school play a pivotal role in the way of education. As per above statement, i strongly agree with the latter statement and this is needless to say that prepare sillks will have more potential to get jobs.
Without any dichotmy,it is seen in few countries of europe, Few puiple of age group 11 or 13 go to school to learn more practical skills that will benfit to get a job whereas other just go to school to learn accadamic education. To enchorage student in involvment of more practical,Schools should have firstly, More practical sessions , Secondly, advanced equipment or tools, and allocation of stifunds
Firstly to enhance the intrest of children in practical skills convents shall priorties or allocate more time on practical sessions .For instance, Every school shall followup three sessions for each subject out of one is theortical and two is practical where it is eassy to understand and learn by visualisation rather than listening or reading
Secondly, Advanced Equipments can also rise the intrest of practical learning which need to avail by Schools as per the techolgical inventions. Such as few childrens are instrested in Photography those children shall be thought photography skills with latest cameras and Drones and on the other hand if there are computer for those children it shall be accessbale to latest softwares also who there can show more creativity
Thirdly,Intrest in the devolpment of practical skills can be increased by the anouncment of stifunds also. For example if any of the student prepare or invents any new Invention those children shall be awarded with certain amount which will creat an human race in childrens .
To recapitualte More and more practical sessions , advanced equipments , stifunds are the main supportive ideas for increase in the practical education of childrens rather than Genral acadamic education

Nowadays in European nations, children who are in the age bracket of 11 to 13 engaged in more on-hand skills at school that will enable them to secure work while other prefers education that gives more traditional academics in their studies. These two ways of learning are good on their own and would be discussed in this essay, however, the mixture of both learning in getting a job would add significantly to the students.
First of all, people believe that learning and improving on handy work at schools would help to give a head start at life after finishing school. If a pupil is equipped with skills like arts or tailoring while at school and immediately they are done with their academics and unable to secure a job in a company, the skills they acquire at school could be embarked on as a source of income for them. For instance, I couldn’t secure university admission immediately I finished my secondary school but due to the practical skill of electrical repairs I engaged with while at school, I was able to make some money before I finally got my admission. So, securing a practical skill did help.
Consequently, general education cannot be overemphasized because soft skills like engagement with people, understanding peoples believes and emotional intelligence are required in the work environment, therefore, traditional academic education cannot be downplayed. For example, due to the general education I underwent while in school, I was able to gain some soft skills like interaction with different people, how and best way to communicate and other morals lessons which eventually helped in preparing me for the world at large.
In conclusion, this essay has highlighted reasons while mixture of both handy skills and soft skills by schools in general should be encouraged like arts, tailoring as so on. These will equip the pupils much better which will make them a better person in the work place after they finish their schools.
