Over the last two decades, massive development in technology industries has been giving a significant improvement to human life. Nowadays, people easily download legal music and books through internet platforms without charge. In this case, I am personally extent to that positive statement and the essay will be explained the reasons behind my statement.

First of all, modern technology has been helped many people to improve their capabilities. The musician is one of the people who get a lot of benefits from this development. Today, they only need an account on music platforms and stable internet to distribute their albums all over the world. It was a hundred percent different to the musician's condition in the 80s which had limited access to spread their creations. Even though the music platform can be entered freely, musicians still get income from this site for every listener of their songs. Besides, this technology also improves the musician's creativity in performance which allows them to hold a concert from different places by using online video conferences. It gives an opportunity for them to expand their song listeners across regions or countries.

On the other hand, the upgraded technology assists the researchers to gain a deeper understanding regarding the issues on their research topics. Using an internet connection, the researchers can find a hundred books and journals related to their study. Furthermore, it allows the researcher to do collaborative research and project with other researchers across countries. As a result, they can produce an international journal which may improve their reputation and career in the future.

In conclusion, modern technology is not just helping people to download books and music albums freely, but it also give a significant impact on others' incomes and science development.

In the information explosion, advanced technology has made it more convenient to access music and reading materials for free. I agree that this development brings benefits for people.
No doubt downloading free music and books from the Internet helps to economize money. It is more reasonable for listening to a copyrighted one than to purchase a CD because the cost for CD or other initial materials is expensive, especially for students to pay the fee. In addition, ever¬ accelerated updating of free documentaries let people on large scale approach. Although these cannot have the best quality like the first ones, they still fulfill the requirements of readers by the same contents, images, and sounds. Therefore, people can gain unlimited knowledge about the culture of other countries.
The other advantage is having a song or a book on the Internet helps to save time. With just a click on Google, we can search for many types of books and music. For a busy person, that is convenient, easy, and fast to update current affairs or relax after a busy week.  For example, on Spotify, if individuals use a premium account, they have to take time for registering, reading some policies and rules while a free account does not require that. Moreover, free videos can make a person widely available. Social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and other different networks allow a user to share information with their friends, which speed up the pace of videos or textbooks in a short time. For instance, a Vietnamese Youtuber whose name is Ba Tan Vlog became popular after one night because of her exciting video on Youtube.
To conclude, approaching free copyrighted music and documentaries is increasingly popular because it produces several advantages.

These days the advancement of technology has made everyone's living easy and comfortable. It is commonly observed that with the invention of latest digital technology , individuals can easily download many  online resources such as reading material, music with copyright  free of charge just by a click. This essay argues the positive and negative aspects of downloading coyright material online.

Using copyright materials from internet is beneficial in various ways  as copyrighted work goes into public domain that means creator has surrendered  their copyright, which can be used by anyone free of charge . For instance ,  about 90% of university students in their dissertation, use copyright articles, theories, quotes, videos and provide references. This is gretaly helping  in research field as information is available withou any cost. Hence, the development of using patent information without spending any money is helping the community to a large extent expecially in education, research and technology innovation.

Despite the fact that copyright work is proving to be an advantage to community , there are some drawbacks of it. Some people misuse the information and claim that its their own work, which defames and takes the legal rights of the owner. In addition, they also download copyright patents, trademarks to create a their own business to get credit and profit. Hence , it is becoming difficult to prevent infringement of copyright in the long run.

To sum up, this essay has argued about how the copyrighted items is benefiting the society to a large extent, although there are some negative sides of it.

Task 2
Question
You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Modern technology has made it easier for individuals to download copyrighted music and books from the internet for no charge.

To what extent is this a positive or a negative development?

You should write at least 250 words.

Answer
Because of the advancement in technology and after the introduction of internet, it is possible now a days to download anything from online without any cost. So why to spend a money after such thing if it is freely available? Though, there are few negative points of it, i believe that somehow it is a positive development.

One of the biggest benefits of such thing is that, a person does not need to pay a price in order to read a book or to listen to music. No diversification would be there between a rich and a poor one because technology has made is accessible for everyone. It has eliminate the restriction that only a person with a lot of money can read expensive book. Academic books are way too costly now a days, so one of my friends could not buy this books due to dearth of money. But because of the internet, he could download it without any charge.

On the flip side, there are few notes which make it uncooperative. People have composed music and written a books after the hardwork of years and have uploaded on the internet in order to earn few bucks. But due to this technology they are not getting what they deserve. It takes moths of hardwork and patients to make a movie, but people leck it using such innovation.

In conclusion, though, this technological development has many negative points, but looking at the positive side it has made people's life easier. So, in short, it can be said an affirmative development.

The given pie charts illustrate the proportion of salary spent on different items by low and high income groups in one country in Europe.

Overall, it is clear that both the groups have stark differences in their household income expenditure on various items. Low income group spent more money on food and fuel whereas, recreational and cultural activities and transportation took major portion of expenses among high income group.

Recreational and cultural activities and; hotel and restaurant collectively used 15% of income, whereas the amount of money spent on transportation and clothing was 9% and 5% respectively. About 18% of income was reserved for miscellaneous expenditure.

Among the high income group, the amount of money spent on food and drink and fuel coolectively was under a quarter (22%) of the total income. The income spent on recreational and cultural activities was almost double(21%) of the low-income group. Same was the case for transportation where high income group spent almost double the income(16%)than the former group. Money spent on restaurant and hotel was 12% and clothing expenditure was more or less the same as low income group. But the miscellaneous spending incresed in this group to about 23%.

Music and books are some of the items which are still popular among masses. Due to free availability of these items on the internet, the modern technology has made it possible to download them free of any charge. This essay will discuss why i believe that it can have both positive and negative impact.

There are several positive aspects of this development. Firstly, the people, who want to listen to the music or read books, do not have to pay for it due to the latest technology and it saves them money. Some applications, such as spotify, for instance, provide platform for people to listen millions of songs and download them for free. Secondly, such technology indirectly increases the listenership and readership, which would have been difficult otherwise. Lastly, some music companies also allow free downloads to promote their music. In short, it can help in saving people's money.

However, the negative development of such technology is that it promotes digital piracy. People without knowing the origin of these music and books may download from illegal platforms. Some of these platforms just steal the original work and provide it for free downloads on the internet, which affects the sale of these items. Such activities, indirectly, impact the earnings of musicians, singers and writers. These artists are not paid for their work due to these illegal downloads. Moreover, people also hesitate to spend money on the original content, if they know that these items are available for free. Surely, such technology can badly affect the income of singers and writers.

To conclude, the music and books can easily be downloaded due to the latest technology. In my opinion, if this technology is used wisely it can help both the consumers and the content producers; even though, it has both the negative and postive development.
