Task 1

The given table depicts the data on the amount of money that secondary/high school lecturers receive in five different nations in the period of 2009.

Overall, it could be seen that the salary of secondary/high school teachers in Luxembourg was the highest, while the income in Australia was the lowest. It was also obvious that Denmark had the shortest years to reach the maximum earnings, however, Japan took the longest years to reach the maximum salary.

To begin with, the amount of money that secondary/high school teachers received in Luxembourg increased from 80,000 to 119,000 during 15 years, which was the first rank compared to other nations. There were 30 years to reach the maximum income of 132,000. Even though the earnings in Australia began at only 28,000, it rose to 48,000 after 15 years.

Additionally, the income in Denmark took 8 years to reach the maximum salary, which presented as 54,000 and was the fastest period among the 5 given countries in the table. On the contrary, there were 37 years to reach the maximum earnings of 86,000, which was the longest time.

Task 2

In this contemporary era, individuals are giving first birth when they are over thirty years old. This essay will provide several primary causes for this tendency. This trend would also introduce both pros and cons, but I do think that the benefits of this phenomenon outweigh the drawbacks.

It is understandable why adults give first births when they get older is that they would like to develop their careers and have steady earnings. It can be exemplified that people can focus more on their careers to have reasonable positions in their jobs. As a consequence, when people are older, they are more willing to have a first child in their lives. Another reason is that many adults still desire to travel to countries around the world. To elaborate, people feel uncomfortable when they have to take their first children to travel together. As a result, grown-up individuals prefer to enjoy their lives with their loved ones before concentrating on giving first birth and taking care of them perfectly.

It is clear that having a first child when they are older brings about an apparent downside. Today, older people do not easily have children because of their age and health. Consequently, older individuals’ health is likely to weaken significantly if they give their first birth. On the other hand, there are more advantages that would arise. One straightforward merit is that people, who are over thirty, have a wealth of knowledge and experience to educate their first children. It would be easier for those children to become intelligent and wise people in society. Another advantage is that adults have more time and chances to develop themselves and their careers in their twenties times. Thus, when they are older, they are comfortable investing in everything for their first children.

In conclusion, the two reasons for older individuals to give their first birth as they would like to develop their careers and income, as well as enjoy their twenties by traveling nations across the world. Although there is a drawback of affecting to older women’s health, they are outweighed by advantages, which become more enjoyable in their lives and have full of mature to educate their children in the long run.
