The provided diagram compares the Liverton Docks of 1980 and the present day.
Overall, by analyzing both maps, it is clearly shown that it has undergone significant transformations to establish the modern amenities such as an educational center, sailing club, kid's play area and museum.
In 1980, Liverton Docks consisted of only warehouses and cranes on each side of the river. One crane was located between two warehouses on the north side, while the southern side had one crane and one warehouse. Additionally, four ships were navigating into river whereas three of them were directed towards the coastal area.
Today, few warehouses have been replaced with an education center and residential apartments. Along with that, new buildings have been created such as sailing club and hotel. Additionally, kid's playing area has been situated beside sailing club and parking has been located near apartments for individual use. Furthermore, the bridge has been created along with the flood barrier on the east side towards the coastal area. More interestingly, multiple ships have been changed into ship museum for entertainment purposes.

overall in the both maps has huge various changes happend newly added river water along with bridge
In the year 1980 in the north double warehouse in between center prasent in diagram at the middele there are three ships in the northeast direction to the coast one of the ship is opposite direction on the northwest side in front of crane moreover in the south ware house
secondly at the prasent day in the north way we have two education centres as well as sailing club and kid's playing area in the ship museum is a center of the bridege education center thereofre hotel south direction we see two apartments whereas parking start with river walk to the coast way therefore nrotheast direction flood barrier newly added new building along with conerted bulidings
The illustrations show the changes in the Liverton docks from 1980 to the present. Overall, we can observe some physical adaptations and new buildings. The main transformation of Liverton was the change from a shipping port to a residential and tourist area.
In 1980, the river was mainly used by ships that traveled in two directions. The docks were used to receive, store and send cargo to the coast using the river. North and south were populated with some buildings, some of them were rebuilt in recent years. This kind of docks functioned as a commercial place.
In the present time, the whole area has been transformed into a residential area, which promotes tourism. Nowadays it can easily be seen as an area with whole new activities. Hotel, apartments and parking lot are located in the south, where can be easily reached by walking near the river. There are other complexes crossing the bridge to the north. Considering the attractiveness of the area, a ship museum has been added. All these places are completely safe with the eastern flood barrier.
The diagram compares the layout of Liverton docks from 1980 to the present. Overall the main purpose of the dock has changed today.
In 1980 the dock was being used to ship cargo. Both sides of the river had warehouses and cranes to store and load the cargo. There were two warehouses on the North side and one on the South side. One crane was installed on each bank of the river. The river had multiple ships, most of them heading to the coast.
As of today, the Liverton dock serves more recreational purpose. Many changes have been made to the existing layout and new buildings are also constructed. Moreover, a flood barrier and bridge to cross the river is installed on the coast side. Two warehouses on the north sides are converted to an education center and a playing area for kids respectively. The warehouse on the south side is converted into an apartment building. Furthermore, the free space on both sides of the river is used as a hotel, a sailing club, and a parking area. Now there is more free area inside the river since only the ship museum lies there as compared to multiple ships in 1980.
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''The government should be responsible for providing retirees with financial support and care. While many people think that citizens should save money to take care of themselves when they are old. Discuss both views and give your opinion
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Many people think that citizens should save some money to take care of themselves when they are old, whereas, some people believe that governments should take that responsibility by giving some amount of money to elderly after their retirement. In my opinion, I'd suggest public to save their money for their future rather than relying on governments to provide pensions.
On one hand, if citizens save money to take care of themselves when they are old, it will be a great way to lead their life for any individual as they live without depending on any others. My opinion on this issue is to encourage public to save money for their future to take care of themselves instead of completely relying on monthly pension given by the government, whereas, this intention will also make them to work hard for living happily in the future, which in turn improves the GDP of the country as well. As governments are not providing any financial support, they should take care of their retired citizens by providing free health care and transport.
On the other hand, if governments had to take the responsibility of providing financial support, then most of the government's wealth will go just for pensions and providing other facilities to retired citizens, which in turn results in lack of funds for developmental activities. For instance, consider defence industry in which the government provides different types of benefits and pensions to its employees after their retirement which is always a burden to the government and it will not allow governments to allocate funds for improvement of defence companies. Providing these type of facilities to citizens after retirement will make them lazy as well, as they would be with the intention that anyways pensions will be provided for retired employees, which is always a danger to country's economical growth and it shall act as a gradual break to the developmental activities in the nation.
To sum up, citizens should be provided free health care, transport and food items to the elderly people in the country instead of supporting them directly by giving pension which shall lead to chaos in the future.
The diagram illustrates the changes made in the Liverton docks area by comparing two outlines of the dockyard in the year 1980 and in the present year.
Overall, the Liverton dockyard is no longer used as a place for docking ships. Now, that place is converted into a museum by building a flood barrier and a bridge to control water flow.
Firstly, the place where ships are docked in 1980 is now not a place to dock ships. Perhaps, it is now made as a ship museum, whereas, the three warehouses are now converted into education centre, apartments, and a new kid's playing area respectively. A river walk is also built for the visitors to have a sight of the museum. A bridge and a flood barrier were also constructed to control the water flow.
Secondly, on one side of the dockyard, where a crane was kept in 1980, now that area has been occupied by a new building of a sailing club. On the other side, where another crane is kept, that place is now a new hotel building and on the other side of the converted apartments, a parking area was allocated for the visitors to park their vehicles.
Task 1:
The diagram illustrates the significant change in the Liverton docks compared from 1980s to nowadays.
In 1980, the whole area consists of only warehouses, ships, and cranes but nowadays everything is changed. Today, the warehouses in north are converted into the education centers and kids playing area while the crane between them is now replaced by sailing club. Furthermore ships area is now seen as a Ship Meuseum in the West.
Also in the South, there are Apartements in replacement of the warehouse and also a hotel and parking by its both sides. There is also built a River side Walking area just in front of the apartements. There is constructed a bridge that connects northern Land to the southern one and also a flood barrier is made next to the bridge to the coastal side.
Considering a bigger picture of this whole diagram, it is obvious that the whole area is totally different from the old one. In 1980s there were no residential or modern infrastructure but nowadas whole area is well developed with so much safety and facilities like bridge, flood barrier, riverside walking area, and the Parking
Task 2:
The retired and old people are the gold for any country because they had sacrificed their whole life in upbringing the nation. Now when they are old, they need the help, both physically and financially. But there are two kind of peoples, one who think that the governement should take care of them while other are of the view that the government is not responsible for them and they have to save money for their survival. In this essay I will discuss both of the viewpoints and also give my own opinion on this particular topic.
According to the first view point, the government should take care of the old peoples both financially and physically. Because they have served the nation by sacrificing their whole life, For example the soldiers and government employees and now this is their right to be cared by the government and have the facilities like getting pension and having the modern and well maintained old age homes.
While considering the viewpoint of second group of people, every person should make a proper plan for their retirement and save money accordingly because after retirement they are not the responsibility of the government. Government have to consider other important issuesm, Like Economic development and security issues and every thing needs a budget. Sop now the old retirees should have to take care of themselves.
As far as my opinion is concerned, I totally agree with the first viewpoint that government should take the responsibiliy of the old peoples because they have served the country by working all their lives for the sake of the betterment of their country. So, now they deserve to be helped by the government.
