I find it hard too, I feel like you should find a key word in the text that either replies to the question straight away or it doesn't. For example if they ask you: Is the garlic the first ingredient to use in the recipe? and the text says "Garlic is the main ingredient in this recipe, and you need to use it AFTER the onion" then your keyword would be first in the question and after in the answer, therefore, the answer would be no.

The general is for immigration purposes but the academic is for those who want to gain admission into universities abroad

The tests here are a little tricky. I'm low-key panicking, working them out. Is the real deal exactly like this? Also, how much time do I get to read through questions before the audio begins? Is it exactly like how it is here?

The tests can be harder, its okay. But marking is incorrect.
The answers are same what i written and that they say are correct, but yet its marked wrong.
Seems its all computerized and hence correct marking is not done.
This is confusing as if i continue to get such scores i will not be able to go for the final and only keep practicing.
Test one was more difficult than Test two for me. I have difficulty with the True/ False/ Not given section. I know I'll definitely have to practice some more on that section if that is going to be a part of the test I'll sit soon.

cannot fix my score at all, once I mark 4,5 and in just 30 minutes another reading test(this current one for sample with 35 correct answers) with 7 band...Do u think I just hurry with answers? I always submit my answers having 10 to 15 minutes remaining...any important tip for me to follow ?
I used to think that reading was difficult, but now, I strongly believe that is easy if you pay close attention. Do not waste your time reading all the passage (I used to do that), read the questions first and look for the answers, they are testing your answers not your interpretation. It sounds simple but it is the best piece of advice I can give you. The questions are not in a specific order, so you should try to spot key words in the passage and get the answers. Also, IELTS use synonyms and paraphrasing (a lot), so my suggestion is to learn vocabulary looking for their synonyms and of course, the meaning.

No in computer based you will get only 2 minutes extra at the end of listening test to check your answers.

I started preparing for my IELTS in first week of September and appeared for the exam in the last week of the same month. I scored L - 8.5, S - 8.5, W - 7, R - 8.5. When I started preparing, I wasn't too sure about pattern and I stumbled upon this website. I gotta hand it to them, the practice sets, the Webinars were so good and more importantly, free of cost that I scored really well. One thing I faced during my preparation was lack of getting any review for my speaking practice. That comes at a price and I wasn't sure if I needed one considering I had less period. I am no professional but I would love to help a few people with their speaking section. I am going to drop my email id here and anyone who wants me to have a one to one conversation with them or conduct a mock Speaking session, I would try to help with that. One of the hottest popular topics that are available in almost every debate session nowadays is “Abortion”. While some people claim that it is their right to choose how they are going to live their lives, others are strongly against the later view and believe that it is an inhumane act that is also morally and religiously wrong. In this essay we are going to discuss different points of views.
Many people are claiming that abortion is a right and that it should be legal for all women to choose how will they live. Feminists groups are fighting for the freedom of choice in support of women who are likely to ask for an abortion. Also, some people are claiming that no boundaries should be set or forced upon them and that nothing is sacred but freedom. Many people are calling in for the right of abortion and claim that cultures and religions are imposing outdated views on the matter at hand.
On the other hand, others are claiming that it is an inhumane act to end a life. Abortion is a forbidden act by many religions across the world: It is not a choice nor a right to claim or fight for. People should be more careful in their relationships, and they should follow proper customs and traditions set by communities for behaving in relationships.
This controversial topic will increasingly continue to be discussed as our world is becoming a small global village. I believe that social traditions are getting diminished in global communities little by little due to technological developments and rapid lifestyle. People are getting closer via online social media and dating sites that lack all sorts of privacy, which is leading to free sexual lifestyle and open marriages. I personally advocate the right of abortion as the world is changing vigorously, we need to adapt.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to complain about the quality of service and food back at your esteemed restaurant. I am greatly dissatisfied and would like to raise awareness of what happened to me during my last visit.
Last week, my family and I visited your restaurant (downtown branch) to celebrate my son’s birthday. During our visit the service was terrible, nobody received us at the door, and it took the restaurant host fifteen minutes to seat us. Our order took ages to get ready, and it came in cold!
I would kindly ask you to invite us back for a compensation lunch or dinner after you would address the above issues with the restaurant manager. I would also recommend a food audit company that would give your restaurant detailed reports on your service and quality. This should help dearly in addressing problems similar to the ones we faced last week.

Hello! I would like to know if the real exams are marked by people or by computers? As many of my mistakes are not really mistakes, for example I wrote 12:00 instead of 12 o'clock, which is still right but counted as wrong and I wrote as an answer of how is best the garlic? "fresh"when the right answer says "fresh garlic". I hope this are not counted as wrong in the real exam because that would be really unfair...
it count as a right answer but you have to follow protocals also
