What's the weather like in your country?

Well, China is a big country so it's hard to generalize. But I'd say it has very distinctive seasons, so in most regions it feels really hot in the summer, and in the winter it gets really chilly. But in some southern cities, they have a mild climate, so it's never boiling hot or freezing cold.

Which months have the best weather in your country?

Sample answer:

Well, I'm not so sure about this, but perhaps it's between Septembers to November. That's the autumn time. And it's also when we have the Golden Week starting from October the first. The weather around that time is pretty nice, so people would often travel around the country, or simply have a staycation.

Does the weather affect your mood? / Does the weather bother you when it rains?

Sample answer:

Yes, it does. Cold, gloomy days put me in a bad mood. And when it rains, it'd be impossible to do outdoor activities, and around that time usually traffic would be worse than usual, which is a nightmare. So I love summertime, when it's warm and sunny. When I get up in the morning and I see the sun rising, everything feels so hopeful.

What's your favourite season?

Sample answer:

Well, I think it's spring…The weather is very pleasant and it's nice to see everything come back to life. It's the perfect time of the year to visit botanical gardens, go on an excursion, or have a picnic. But for people who have allergies, spring time might be their least favourite season because of, you know, pollen. It's not a problem for me, so yeah I love it.
