Do you remember your first mobile phone?

Actually yes, my first mobile phone was a Nokia but I cannot remember the exact model. I was super excited cos it was my very first mobile phone and I got it as my 16th birthday gift. Although it was not as intelligent as iPhone or Samsung phones we are using now, I still enjoyed its basic features, like

texting, taking photos and gaming. However, I lost it during my first year of college which was so frustrating for me.

Do you often use your mobile phone for texting or making phone calls?

Sample answer:

I tend to text people more than making phone calls... I don't know why but I definitely have this social anxiety when calling someone or receiving calls. Now, what I use more often on my smart phone is to browse those social media, like TikTok or WeChat and it's the major way for young people to use mobiles phones. Also, user-friendly shopping Apps, like Taobao or Amazon make our mobile phones more than just a device for communication.

Will you buy a new one in the future?

Sample answer:

Yeah...maybe...but I'm not going to buy a new one in the near future. Currently, I'm using an iPhone 12 which works perfectly and gives me good user experience. I understand that iPhone 13 has better camera and longer battery life, but I personally don't need those improvements. I guess I won't change a new phone until when the manufacturer no longer issues the latest operation system for my phone.

How has your mobile phone changed your life？

Sample answer:

Firstly, my mobile phone brings more fun to my life, feeling like I will never get bored. When feeling like needing to pass some time, mobiles will provide me with many different options. For example, I can play mobile phone games, browsing videos and so on. Also, my mobile phone helps a lot in boosting my efficiency, like I can just finish my grocery shopping with the click of a mouse.
