The graphs below show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Writing task 1

The graphs above show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period. The Australian students know better about their language, cultures and life in their country; so they have more oppoturnities to study in Australian universities which might be the answer for the red line of local students compare to overseas students.

At first sight of the blue line, we can easily see that the number of local students usually higher than overseas students; but after 2002, the blue line in overseas students' table increase every year which is totally different from the next table of local students. Perhaps this may tell us about the orientation of globalisation learning where we can see students prefer learning outside their local country.

In conclusion, we are living in 21st Century where internet connects people all around the world so we can see how big the world is and be able to learn so many things include knowledge about other countries such as their language, cultures and their people. Many young people have the open mind to learn in better countries or just want to discover the world.

Task 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Write about the following topic:

Some people think that hosting an international sports event is good for the country, while some people think it is bad. Discuss both views and state your opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

You should write at least 250 words.

Whilst hosting an international sports event always have been considered as a good chance for the country, but i would mantain the view that it could be bad in some circumstance. Everybody knows that be the host country could bring the people from all over the world to your country; this cannot be better for your country's economics, traveling and be able to administrate your people to worldwide. Those things are the booster to develop the country better than ever. Some country have good technologies can show off their products to everyone from other side of earth. By the time the event being hosted, many athlectics from many countries come to your country, this maybe the good chance for many companies to co-operate with the best athletics.

In other hand, the train traveling people from all over the world could bring more than just travelers, athletics; some does not have the good purpose; they use the huge ammount of travelers to do many bad things such as dealing drugs. In addition, many viewers may angry when their country lose the game and combine with some bad travelers this might increase the rate of criminal in the host country. Not everything as good as their first saw.

In conclusion, I may say that hosting an international sports event is the chance for the hosting country to develop their own country. But this will also bring many bad things to them and be able to deal with that is necessary to keep their services well in many international eyes
