The map shows the the changes of the Chorleywood village since the middle of the 19th century.

Overall, it is clear that the population has significantly increased and therefore, there was the demand for the accomodation to be built.

Before 1868, the village had only 2 main roads intersecting at the northwest of the village. From 1868 to 1883, the first residential area was built near the North-South road. In the period between 1883 and 1922, the villagers constructed a bigger housing estate in the southwest of the village. Moreover, in 1909 a new railway was made in the south end.

In a 48-year period from 1922, two more neighbourhoods were established in the southwest corner of Chorleywood. In the year of 1970, a modern motorway was built in the east side of the village. Significantly, here was an appearance of a bunch of new residential areas were made on the two sides of the motorway from 1970 to 1994.

Nowadays, mobile phones are significantly developed in the entire world. Some people think these devices should be prohibited in certain places due to its dangerous consequences just like smoking, but this essay will argue how important they are with modern people.

There are many reasons why people think mobile phones qre detrimental for their users. First of all, with a mobile phone, people never pay attention to everything, especially when they go out, as they look toward their phones everyday. Therefore, it can lead to some unexpected accidents. In addition, these electronic tools may harm their bodies. For example, looking for a long time at a small screen may cause myopia, certain waves such as electromagnetic radiations from mobile phones can cause nerve disorder or worse.

In contrast, I have a belief that there are also some advantages of a mobile phone. The most significant reason for this is that with these devices, people can do more things than a person without a phone could. Because all of the most developed features are installed in this small tool. For example, telephone, email, games, social network, and more. In addition, in the cyberspace, all of users' information will be better protected thanks to mobile phones. The reason for this is that each phone has a complicated security system. Therefore, neither hackers nor dangerous datas can invade in these devices.

All things considered, whereas some people think that mobile phones should be banned in certain places, I however prefer that people can use their phones everywhere but with moderation.
