The table displays trends concerning the amounts of fast food consumed in Melbourne. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

Writing Task 1

The chart illustrates units of 5 different fast food consumption in Melbourne, including hamburger, fried chicken, salad, fried rice and noodles from 2005-2015. The overall food trends tend to increase.

Hamberger had been consumed for 40 units in 2005 but the rate drops by 2 in the presen. However, the hamburger is likely to be eaten more in 2025, as it will be eaten 51 units. In 2005, the fried chicken were consumed 35 units and increase to 37 units in the recent, which the demand appears to be slightly rise up yo 45 units in the future. Unlike, salad, the consumption is skyrocket. It started from 5 units in 2005, then surge up to 10 in these day, and will reach 41 units by 2025.

By contrary, nowadays the popularity of fried rice jump from 6 to 9 units. However, the need seems to remain constant in the future. On the other side, the noodles' consumption is slightly increase by 2 units since 2005, which was 6 units. In prediction, by 2025, the noodles' consumption will be 9, gaining 1 more unit form now.

Many people now undertake extreme activities, from hang-gliding to mountain climbing.

Why do people risk their lives in this way, and do you think this is a good trend?

Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Have you heard of bungee jump? paraglidin? These are part of the extreme sport, which seems to increase the popularity through time. In my opinion, risking life with extreme posit is a good way to get some adventure and gain health benefits.

Some people sees the extreme activity as the unnecessary way to risk our life because human body is fragile and the sport is extremely dangerous. The accident could have happened by any minutes because just one reckless mistake. So, some might think, it is not worth trying.

Nonetheless, the extreme activity is considering a sport, which benefit the health. When participating it, our body will release adrenaline, the hormone of energy. The heart will pumping blood to supply the organs, giving the person feel the blood stream in the body and energize. Furthermore, it also activate dopamine, hormone of happiness, as it always release when people do something they love, giving you the new vibe of happiness,

Moreover, the extreme sport is also count as adventurous activity, paradise of the outdoor activists. Some people would try in for fun, gaining new experience, and introducing to a new group of people.

To sum up, the extreme activity has advantages and disadvantages. It is a high risk activity, which people can get injury easily, even fatal. However, the pros is heavily outweighting the cons. Performing extreme sport is considered as exercise, which helps you to be more active and healthier. Plus, it is an opportunity to receive new experience, amusement and get to know new people.
