There has been a ongoing debate of whether conventional schools or home-schooling provide most benefits for the development of a child. While both options are considered practical as they are advantegous in certain aspects, I personally concur that a traditional school is the best place for children to spend their adolescense.
On the one hand, home-schooling is chosen by a portion of parents mainly because it is a smart way of saving money. Without the spendings for tuition fee and transportation, parents could save a considerable amount of money monthly, which could be use to compensate losses due electrical or water bills. Studying at home is also a great way to form a close-knit family, where the bond between the child and his or her parents will be reinforced. Being with their parents most of the time gives the son or daughter a sense of caring, hence developing "family fisrt" characteristics.
On the other hand, the reasons why i believed that traditional schools are better than home-schooling come from various aspects. Looking at the educational aspect of this option, it is true that schools can provide their students with proper methods of learning via qualified teachers. This way of learning has been in practice for hundred of years and is proven by generations. Furthermore, school environment is also a suitable atmosphere where children meet their peers and learn some of the fisrt steps of socializing. Countless acts of manners are also taught at schools and these are crucial for childer's later development.
In conclusion, while home-schooling centainly will help parents redirecting their children's educational money for other life immenities and reinforced their family bond, schools in my personal perspective are still the best place for children to develop not only in education but also their social life.
