The bar chart illustrates the income of different mobile phone brands over a four-year period.
It is clear that the income of Samsung, Apple, and ZTE saw an upward trend, but a downward trend in Nokia and LG. Nokia had the highest revenue over the period shown.
In 2009, the global sales of Samsung stood at about 240, then experienced a significant increase to 450 units in 2013. The same trend was seen in Apple, which rose gradually from approximately 25 to 150 units throughout the period. ZTE also witnessed a slight increase from 50 to around 60 units between 2009 and 2013.
By contrast, Nokia and LG underwent an opposite tendency. The income of Nokia decreased slightly in 2011, which then dropped suddenly to just 250 in 2013. This period also showed a gradual decline in the sales of LG, from around 120 in 2009 to just over 70 in the end.
