Nowadays, it has become a general trend for people to experience risky and adventurous sports such as Sky diving, skiing. Some people believe that these extreme sports should not be encouraged and to be banned which has led to injuries and fatal accidents. In my opinion, I believe that these sports should not be banned and proper care needs to be taken in terms of security and training.

Firstly, adventurous sports have gained an interest from people in recent years. From their busy schedule and office stress people want to enjoy their time by experiencing such sports activities to refresh their mind. Lack of security is one of major issue which have caused accidents. Organisations which are offering these sports should ensure proper care in terms of individual’s health condition, safety kits and weather conditions.

Furthermore, I believe people should get a genuine training from organisations which are sponsoring these sports. An individual should go through a 3-5 days of training course. Government should monitor and authorise few training institutions. Before getting into a proper field a mock test need to be taken and ensure that the participant have passed these tests with decent scores. For example, Dubai has one of the highest sky diving centres in the world. Government in Dubai have made a mandatory to the participants to clear the prerequisites exams before experiencing the sky diving. By this it has achieved to reduce the number of accidents.

To conclude, though the adventurous sports are dangerous they should not be banned instead prior security check and proper training needs to be given for the people who are experiencing these sports.

Extreme sports are widely spread all over the world. Due to high mortality rates as well as the high disabling injuries, some people have been asking the government to ban those activities.
In my view, a ban on these activities will not be the appropriate solution because of two reasons.
Firstly. people enjoy extreme sports, and secondly, the government will have to expand the base to include other sports.
People always crave what they cannot get, that is the reason why a ban on extreme sports will only push people to practice them covertly. This, therefore, will increase the chances of people risking their lives doing extreme sports just to evade government restrictions. This was proven by a study from the University of Rome that came out in 2012, it showed that children, under the age of 10, when denied sweets, risk getting injured.
This gives evidence that people who take part in extreme sports will not be deterred by government restrictions.
The argument for safety can be extended to every human activity and it can be applied to even the mildest form of sports. For instance, the number of people who had to receive knee surgery for playing football exceeds the number of those who had to do it because of skiing. Consequently, the government will have to restrict every form of sports to make sure nobody is hurt.
To conclude, we should give people the freedom to practice whatever sport they like while providing the safety measures they require to be safe

The two graphs illustrate the amount of money spent in pounds by parents in the united kingdom on their children's sports and three different sports that the children took part in respectively, in the period between 2008 and 2014.
In general, the first graph demonstrates a continuous and steady increase in expenditure while the second graph shows diverse data about the preferences of the children.

the first graph shows that in 2008 the average amount of money spent on sports was 25 which increased by 5 pounds every two years consequently it reached 25 pounds in 2010 and almost 30 pounds in 2012. This trend is expected to be maintained as the money spend in 2014 will reach 35.

The second graph shows that participation in football maintained it is position as the most practiced sport throughout the six years with 8  9 million participants.
while the number of participants who practiced swimming escalated in a steady way, athletics showed a significant increase after 2010 as demonstrated by the graph it remained below 2.5 millions , rose rapidly between 2010 and 2012 as it reached 5 millions.
