There are several stadiums, arenas in my hometown. However, the most popular one, especially among young persons, is a sports field near Qingdao University. Basically, I firstly visited the place about one year ago when our school held the sport meeting there. Another time was last winter, I went there for ice skating when they turned the middle part into an ice rink. With the great background music and lighting, it was a kind of exciting and romantic experience.

As to what I did there...well, I went there for taking part in the sports meeting so I run on the track. Okay so regarding this topic, the first place coming to my mind was

Helong Stadium, the biggest local stadium in the heart of my city. It's a place where people in all age groups spend their leisure time doing sports and also where professional athletes compete against each other.It's downtown which means public transport is easily accessible. I've been there many times actually, and I would normally take the subway there. I do drive but parking can be a pain in the neck, so I think the subway or the bus is a better choice.
