The map and chart illustrates about the information on how the global is showing willingness to eat insect based products and their current price for certain food available on the market.
Overall,from the map we can see that Mexico show more willinginess in eating insect based products compared to other countries.The price for insects available on the market are costlier compared to other daily eating animals.
Almost 71 percent of Mexico is will to eat insect based products compared to other countries and Japan is unwilling to this concept of eating insect products.The other countries such as Peru,China,Brazil,Thailand are on edge of willing to eat products of insects.India show willingness to eat about 33 percent which is suprisingly more compared to Japan country.
If we look at the chart wearver ant has more demand in the market almost 10.65 USD per kg which is more than a bufflow as it costs 2.38 USD per kg.The demand for insects mainly bamboy loctus,wearver ant,bamboo caerpillar,palm weevil has more demand in the market compared to daily eating animals buffaloes,beef,pork,chicken.The price of insect per kg is more costiler than the price of the animal per kg.

To meet the growing need for food to support an increasing population, a country should make use of edible insects as a food source. However, some people believe that insects are not only unhealthy but harvesting them will also negatively affect nature. What are the benefits and drawbacks of eating insects?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Food places a vital role in every living being.The thirst for more food is needed to support the large population which is growing rapidly.Country can make use edible insect based products as food to support the food system but there are few people who are against to this idea because they believe that eating insects are not good for health and harvesting them will damage the nature.
Firstly,according to the global willingness country Mexico show about 71 percent of interest in eating insects and products.In order to support and protect the large growing population taking edible insects as a food is not a bad idea but we don't know what will be the consquences of eating insects will be and how to protect ourselfs from those effects.
Besides that there are few benefits on eating insects for example if we take red ants eating will improve eye sight and crickets as they have high levels of vitamins,fiber and gut health eating them will give us amount of proteins we need and compared to animal based proteins,such as chicken or beef the vitamins and minerals available in eadible insects are way better for human beings.
In addition to this there are drawbacks on eating insects as they have different kinds of bacteria which will make people skick and they spread viruses and forms a biological contamination which will become a serious issue to the society and curing those dieseases will become a big task and lives of people will be on risk.
In conclusion,eating insects which keeps our lives at danger is not at all a good idea thou it has few benefis which are actually needed for person and these can be gained by other sources such as plants,keeping our health at risk and spreading these issues biologically is not a good idea.So,avoiding the idea of eating insects is good for one's health and as well as for the society.
