The map illustrates the development of the Chorleywood village following the populational rise since mid 19th century. Overall, it depicts the areas that the city grew firstly around its main station and next surrounding the MotorWay.
It is apparent that the village expanded notably since the first data from 1868 to 1883. Moreover, after the railway was built in 1909, the expansion focused in the surrounding areas of the Chorleywood Station and Railway until 1970.
Turning to the events of 1970, the construction of a new MotorWay in that year created a new attractive area of development around the crosswords of the Motoway and the existent Railway and Main Roads. Consequently, occupation spreaded to another part of the map instead of concentrating aroung the older settlement of the village and its station.
Meanwhile, further expansion in the surronding areas of the Chorleywod station seem to become less atractive since no development is registered in that zone after the 70's.

In social gatherings, some behaviours are considered like antisocial, like using the mobile phone or smoking. Although some argue that, since smoking is prohibited in some places, maybe the mobiles should do, they don't have the same level of threat. Furthermore, the functionalities from a mobile bring with it the necessity of having one.
When people are interacting in any social situation, it's common that two enemies show up: mobile phones and cigarettes. Whereas is not news to anyone that smoking is a habit that disturbs non-smoking people in the proximity, the use of mobile phones can pose as antisocial since an individual can give more attention to the phone rather than the people around. No one likes when, for example, someone doesn't leave the phone when in a friendly reunion. However, it's even worse when is someone smoking.
Meanwhile, while some places forbid smoking, nothing like that is done with mobile phones. It has to be remembered that, currently, is from phones that we receive important news, let people know that we are okay and sometimes even pay for a service or product. Therefore, prohibiting the use of mobiles can be stressfull, impractical and sometimes even dangerous. On the other hand, smoking brings health problems that can even affect those who are simply nearby, like people with ashtma, for instance.
Taking all into consideration, it's not recommended banning mobile phone from social interactions since they can be a necessity and an emergency device. By contrast, smoking is an addiction that has the power to present a thread to who is around the smoker, that, additionally, it's putting it's own life at risk.
