There are 8 countries from Europe, 2 from Asia, only Australia and USA are from their respective continent.

Leading the way is USA with more than 2000 medals, more than double the next competant in Soviet Union (with roughly 1000s); has more than 900 golds, 600 silvers and 500 bronze.

USA and Soviet Union combine for more than half of the medals won by those 12 countries.

Half of those country has less than 500 medals with Germany and Italy just bearly make the cut.

Most country has more Golds than Silver and Bronze with a few exception in UK, France, Germany, Australia.

While having around the same amount of Golds, Germany beat East Germany in Silvers and Bronzes.

The Captitalist Countries beat the Socialist countries by a lot, making it a dominant victory for USA and allies.

Homework has always been a part of any children's education. While most people agree on its importance, some think that their children should spend more time for extracurriculars activities instead of staying at home and doing homework. Those parent argue with the teachers that their children need to have a healthy body and mind through sport activities. Some parent even refuse their child's academic responsibility at home because they have already paid for the kids' education at school. From their opinions, their child's education is school responsibility and they should do their jobs, instead of making the parent work extra time after a full day of works. Most children also prefer to go to school hand free, and comeback home without taking any study materials. Some teachers are also support the idea of dropping the homework completely, since they have to work at home to review their students homeworks as well.

Those are all valid concerns but homework has always serve as an important part of the classic education in reinforced learning. Without reviewing and practicing, it becomes very hard for educators to help their students to improve their understanding of the subjects. The learner has to spend time alone as well as in group in order to tackle every side of the subjects and have a deep understanding of the matters. Without homework, the teachers can't have the parent's cooperations in their children's education which is a large part of the education too, since the parent are the closet role model for the kids. Parent should not ignore their children's education resposibility since they are the persons their child spend most time with.

Because of the, the homework should not be dropped completely, but can be reduced and change in form. The teachers can assign more group projects and self research assignment that can improve the student soft skills and making them actively approach the subjects. It is more fun for the children to have thier friend and parent to engage in their education, and that may lead to a better academic result.
