The diagram above shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn.
firstly, the corn is stored and milled. Secondly, it is cooked with the addition of water for around 4 hours and fermented for 48 hours, which is the longest procedure of the whole production of ethanol fuel.
After the cooking and fermentation, the components are separated into liquid and solid by-product, the liquid is continuously used to purifying ethanol for about 5 hours depending on the external factors like the temperature and amount. And the solid by-products are discarded from the whole production procedure.
After all, it is stored in huge containers and trucks to avoid harsh environmental changes and changes in the state or the chemical components of the ethanol fuel.
Finally, it is transported to the required places such as petrol pumps or laboratories for checking the purity of ethanol and modifying the fuel to make it better for future uses.
Task 2
You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
Some people think that physical strength is important for success in sport, while other people think that mental strength is more important. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
You should write at least 250 words.
When it comes to sports, physical strength or mental strength is more important? In my opinion, physical strength is much more important than mental strength, for example, an obese person can not compete with a healthy and fit athlete, but if the athlete doesn't have the right mindset as in mental strength his chances of success in sports will become lower, overall I believe the more physically strong person will gain success at the end of the day.
After all, once u have the mental strength to overcome in the sports field you eventually get the motivation to have physical strength. Sports is mostly based on how much stamina and energy one has both require mental and physical strength, but I believe physical contributes more to the importance of strength in sports.
Moreover, In rehab, an athlete requires to learn back their previous muscle memories by physical movements but before that, they get mentally prepared. The English idiom phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" is a great example of a decent looking fit athlete winning a completion in a sports event against a massive bodybuilder.
Furthermore, having physical strength leads to obtaining mental strength and vice versa, because if a person doesn't eat healthily it will affect their physicality and their mentality. They will become lazy and people will call them names which will affect their mental health, so they will start giving up.
In a nutshell, both mental strength and physical strength are required for success in sports. But in my opinion physical strength plays a bigger role in achieving success in sports events.
