There are 3 diagrams illustrate how sun rays heat cold air and water for various functions.
Overall,the main tool is the box,which is designed with a transparent top.However, box is designed with a water pipe inside it if we want to heat water in comparison with heating air。
How the Solar panel heat air,after the cool air come into the box,the sun rays will provide heat energy through the transparent top. A little time later, the cool air will become warm air and use for different situation.
But heating water is different. There has a water pipe inside the box.While cold water flows through the water pipe.Sun Rays give to heat energy and make the water hot.
