The above given table deals with countries like Australia, Denmark, Luxembourg, Japan and Korea which shows the salaries of the secondary/ high school teachers of the year 2009. It also displays the minimum and maximum hike in their salaries based on their years of work.

The major highlights of the table are;

The country that provides the highest starting salary is Luxembourg which is of 80,000 likewise the least salary of 28,000 is given by Australia.

After a period of 15 years, it is Luxembourg that is still providing a highest salary among the others whereas Korea and Australia give only 48,000 to their staffs.

It takes 30 years for Luxembourg to give a salary of 132,000 to their staffs.

Task 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

The tendency of news reports in the media to focus more on problems and emergencies rather than on positive developments is harmful to the individuals and the society as a whole.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

The new reports are the most essential thing for the society. It is adequate to know what happens around the globe. We must be aware of all the news though it's emergency or sports. All kind of news helps the public to gather knowledge about the events that take place. The question of just hearing problems and emergencies than positive development makes us wonder if it's a disadvantageous one.

I agree to the above given statement as it's harmful to just hear problems and emergencies rather than positive developments. As it is important to be aware of the crimes like murder, abducting a child or any stock market crash, political rivalries and so on. It's equally good to know if there's any achievements made by a person or a help done to provide shelter to disabled persons. Hearing these kind of news will spread positivity in the minds of the reader.

For an example, if the news reports keep displaying only the crimes and fights and financial losses and war araising between countries, it creates a lot of distress in the minds of the people and that will lead to a serious stress and energy among one selves. If we hear a news that states a guy aged 13 years had committed suicide because he lost in a game called pubg will not shock the people alone but create an impact an oppression in many other children and parents mind.

On the other hand, if the public hear or read about the positive news, it will bring a positive start and calm the readers and interests them to surround them and their loved ones with a happy mood. This clearly shows it is necessary to spread more of positive news in the world of negativity that is superceding.
