The tendency of news reports in the media to focus more on problems and emergencies rather than on positive developments is harmful to the individuals and the society as a whole.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

You should write at least 250 words.

Media has always been an influence on citizens. Their focus amongst various happenings makes a lot of impact on every issue existing in the country.

Taking Election period as an example, Every individual feels, news reporters want to create chaos amongst the audience by representing their views about a certain party as if all they want is their favourite party to get good remarks of them. I've friends who do not watch news channels at that particular time period because of the triggering sensation they feel after watching it. Personally, I feel the effect of the news on an individual is an underrated topic and not many talk about it. For instance, a teenager makes all the important decisions of his life in his adolescence and if that kid is following some news broadcasting medium. The first perspective of his every thought will be negative because he is used to this thing. It will do wonders if that same news channel shows focuses more on positive development or a positive happening of the country. It can make a huge impact on our country if our new generation is optimistic about everything. Not just news reports but our daily newspapers prints problems on the very first page of the newspaper. I think, reading newspaper is the first task of every young person. Thus, the first thought of the day would be negative because of a newspaper.

A negative thought of the publisher can make someone's whole day neagtive. As a soultion, One can focus on good news more than the bad ones, if media changes its perspective.
