Overall, houses will comprise majority of the given land area in the town which will be built in almost all the corners. Meanwhile, parking areas and bus stands will both occupy the least number of space.

In detail, housing will be the top priority to be mostly created in the proposed town setup, which forms a partially circular pattern from the outside to a full circle toward the inside. These group of houses will be surrounded by ring roads that connects to the center and outer roads. This main roads will then lead to 2 industries away from the center, one of which is located in the north west, and the other in the south east. Some people think that hosting international sports events may be beneficial for a country. Discuss both views.

You should write at least 250 words.

Some individuals believe that it is greatly advantageous for countries to host global sports tournaments. Others, however, think the opposite.

Apart from creating a sense of national pride, it is evident that international athletic events increase valuable tourism in a nation which can boost the local economy. This would equate to substantial revenues as foreign visitors flock in the country. For instance, the influx of millions of tourists during the Olympic games held in first world nations, has recorded remarkable profits equivalent to billions of dollars. Furthermore, this activity similarly raises the host countries' global trade and stature as exemplified by invitations to prestigious global economic organizations. This leads to a possible consistent, if not permanent, openness to trading and bidding for future endeavors.

However, being a host country for international sporting events may also entail drawbacks, one of which is a financial drain for the city and the entire nation in general. For example, it has been observed that Olympic games were consistently over-budgeted and each host city were solely responsible for these cost overruns, not to mention the outlays for repairs and maintenance after the said event. Similarly, host cities are forced to create expensive infrastructures and buildings that fall into disuse beyond the games. In addition, some Olympic events led to displacement and burdened the residents as neighborhoods were destroyed and local businesses demolished.

In conclusion, although global sports tournaments boosts the tourism industry, is significantly profitable and opens many opportunities for a particular host country, i would argue that this occasion is massively expensive and impractical especially for developing countries. These expenditures may just be put to waste eventually and likely pose a huge risk for overspending that might result in being heavily indebted.
