Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Writing task 1

The bar graph reveals the information about the citizens of British (in thousands), who were emigrating to selected destinations (Australia, Spain, New Zealand, USA, France) from year 2004-2007.

To commence on, in the first year (2004) more than 40,000 people migrated to Australia which was highest among other countries. While, nearly about 35k, 22k, 25k, and 23k britishers had choosen Spain, New Zealand, USA, and France as their migrating destination. This trend remain same in year 2005 also, except that of France, observing to be the third-highest preference of emigrants.

Furthermore, in the third consecutive year (2006) also Australia remain the top-most selectable country by the britishers (more than 50,000). While, only around 20,000 people from Britain emigrated to New Zealand. In the fourth year (2007), as usual Australia stood the first choice, Spain being on second and New Zealand at third place.

To sum up, Australia remain the top-most choice of the britishers for the emigration for the four consecutive years (2004-2207). While, there were fluctuations in the other four countries in between these years but Spain remain second most preferrable country for emigration.

Some people think that hosting international sports events may be beneficial for a country. Discuss both views.

You should write at least 250 words.

In this modern era, people are becoming multi-linguistic and most of the individuals dream to learn English. They are choosing different sources like Duolingo app, or by joining English coaching. There is a belief that learning English language from Englsih-speaking countries is the best way to learn it properly but this is not the only solution to learn language. I do agree with this statement that there are several other ways to learn English and I will discuss this in upcoming paragraphs.

To embark on, I do agree that English can be best learnt in an English-speaking country because they have different ascent of speaking and to understand that is not a piece of cake for everyone. However, in this technological era, everything is just a click away. At present time, we can learn English language via different online platforms like Duolingo, Oxford Dictionary, Youtube, etc. in which we can listen to the ascent which is been spoken in English countries and can learn easily via simple tricks. These platforms have sufficient data so that a person can be proficient in English. Individuals just have to search out and explore different tutorials from all-over the world by being home.

Furthermore, people can learn this particular skill by enrolling themselves in English coaching centre and they can master in this. These days, most of the countries are including English as their mandatory subject in Primary, Secondary, and Higher-secondary schooling. So that, students won't face any difficulty in their future either they might be migrating to English-speaking countries or they are travelling throughout the world as English is the first most spoken language in the world. In my experience, I found easy to communicate when I was travelling to Singapore. As I was proficient in this, I found it easy to make people understand my view point.

To conclude with, I do agree that learning English language in an English-speaking country is the best way but I don't think that this the only way to learn English. As, there are different sources like, Online applications, Tutorials, etc. available through which individuals can become fluent in English.
