Sample Answer 1:
Okay, to be honest, I haven't really figured out what kind of work I'll do in the future, but I guess it's not a bad idea to work with my father in his restaurant. You see, he owns a small but popular local food restaurant so I can say he's quite a successful man, but very busy, too. From what I know, he founded this business in his late 30s and started from scratch, which I found very respectable and admirable.
I've been to this restaurant many times, and when they are short-staffed, I'd help out, doing things like serving dishes and cleaning tables. But actually,I've never really worked together with my dad before. I mean I don't really know how he runs the business. According to the staff working there, he seems to be a very loving employer, seldom loses his temper or anything like that.
So what kind of work I'd like to do with him? Well, obviously I hope we could stay in catering. Maybe after I get my master's in business management, I'll follow him, learn from him, and ideally, you know, help him expand the business and open more chain restaurants. I'm pretty good at math, so perhaps I could be his accountant or something. Who knows? Everything is possible.
As for how I feel about my dad, well, he can be very strict with me sometimes. For example, he's laid down many family rules, but I know he's got good intentions. And hmmm…apart from that, I think he's always been a great role model to me, committed to his work, and also to my family, so yeah I'd love to be someone like him in the future.
Sample Answer 2 :
Working with family members can be really interesting if they are smart and supportive. In my big extended family, I've got a genius sister, a programmer, a brother-in-law who's renowned lawyer, and a father who's the hero in my life. So it's quite tough for me to select one person to work with. But now I feel like talking about my brother-in-law, the successful lawyer in my family.
You know, it's a lawyer's job to deal with all sorts of difficult cases and situations. He started off as a divorce lawyer and then moved on to real estate, an area where he gets to represent billionaire clients. So I'd assume that he must be well-connected in the local area. And the main reason why I see the possibility of working with him is that I'm a law school student myself, and I've been getting lots of advice from him, on my school projects, and my career path.
In fact, I've worked in his firm as an intern already, and I absolutely enjoyed it cuz it's such a fulfilling experience. I learned so much from him and his colleagues. So I'm really looking forward to working with him again sometime in the future, probably as a formal junior lawyer in his firm after passing the bar test.
So how do I feel about him? Well, personality-wise, he isn't flawless. I mean, he can be too cautious sometimes, making people around him a bit nervous. But that's a quality that a lawyer must have, I guess, cuz a single mistake can ruin everything. And aside from that, I feel like he's the most caring person in the whole wide world. He supports every member of this family from the bottom of his heart and even though we're not tied by blood, he's always the first person I think of when I'm in trouble.

Part 3:
Question:What kinds of family business are common in China?
解题思路:
此题为Part·3典型的例举类题型,要求考生例举出不同的“家族事业”,可以小到面包房,米粉店,大到国际公司(如沃尔玛,三星集团)等。
Sample Answer:
Family business? Well, where I'm from, there're tons of family-owned small businesses and stores, like noodle houses, bakeries, and grocery stores, places like that. But there're also successful global organizations that are essentially controlled by family members. Take Samsung for example, it's like the most powerful enterprise in South Korea, and its shareholders all come from the same family.
Question:Is it good to work with family members? Why?
解题思路:
此题为Part·3典型的观点类题型,要求考生判断和家人共事是否是好事。可以有三种回答方式 : yes/no/it·depends.·需要辩证思考 : whatare·the:prosandcons?·例如好处包括忠诚(loyalty),·稳定性(stability),·动力(willingness·towork·for·longer·hours),·坏处包括任人唯亲(favoritism),员工士气(employeemorale ). .
Sample Answer:
Well, relatives working together can bring the best memories and can also create issues, so I think it depends on different situations. Family members know your strengths and weaknesses, and that too can come in very handy in the workplace. Another great thing about working with family is that you will have someone around whom you can really trust. They are always loyal, and much more likely to stay in the company than other employees. However, mixing business and family can hurt both entities. On the business side, if things don't work out with the family member, disciplining that person, not to mention firing that person, is very difficult. And there's also the problem of favoritism, which can cause low employee morale. So it's a very complex issue.
Question:Why do people want to do family business?
Sample Answer:
One possible explanation is that they can collaborate with people they trust and care about, you know, to make money together for themselves, instead of working for other people. This can be a very nurturing environment, and it can give all family members more self-confidence. Another reason is to do with flexibility. For example, it may not be an issue if you occasionally arrive late or leave early which it may be in a traditional corporate culture. But I'd say the biggest motivation is that family members usually understand that they're all in this together, and therefore are working toward a common goal. They may be much more willing to make financial sacrifices for the company, especially if things get tough.
Question:What benefits are there when working for big companies?
解题思路:
此题为Part·3典型的利弊类题型,要求考生呈现为大公司工作的好处。可以从机遇、学习、社交等角度切入·“
Sample Answer:
Well, the benefits are huge. And the first thing I can associate with is the training programs that are often readily available in large companies, meaning there are more opportunities to develop and grow. Such training opportunities can be scarce in small businesses. And besides, a larger company means a larger pool of talent, and big companies typically attract the best of the best/ This means that you'll have the opportunity to learn from experts in their field, which is great for your professional and personal development. And from a personal perspective, in that there's a large pool of people to make friends with and socialize with. Whatever your interests, you're sure to find someone with similar hobbies.
