IELTS speaking part 2 is the section where examiner will give you some time to prepare on a given topic and then you have to continuously speak without noticeable pauses. First, you can read this question and take one minute to prepare on the topic. After one minute is over, you can start speaking for around 2 minutes. I would like to talk about the thing I always wanted to purchase and it is nothing but a car. Since childhood, it has been my dream to own a car which I can drive on my way to and from office. It’s been more than 20 years now since the time I dreamt of purchasing a luxurious car and I am quite close to the time when I would be able to buy it.

I like cars a lot for many reasons. Firstly, the style and model of cars attract me a lot. I have been very passionate about finding the special features for one or the other latest model and I like to read magazines to search for this kind of information. Secondly, I think I would become independent using my private vehicle, without the need of a driver or without waiting to be in a long queue for boarding a bus. I really feel that I can afford to buy it now since I am financially capable now to purchase a car. Being employed and having good salary, I am planning to buy a royal car next month which has been my dream since childhood and then I can proudly say “My dream has come true”.
