It is argued that people should be allowed to marry legally at the age of 21 at least. This essay disgrees with this statement because it can prevent young people from achieving success in education and most 21 year old people tend to fail when it comes to handling family affairs.
First and foremost, it is likely to distrub the eudcation journey if a 21 year old man of woman is getting married. That means, they will no longer get a chance to concentrate solely in school lectures as they have other responsibilities over their spous and children. For instance, accoing to the survey that was conducted by Yangon university in 2012, the some students who got married at the age of around 20 decided to drop out of the university as they could no longer pay attention properly to the exams and assignments.
Secondly, unstablefamily stituations and domestic violences can be occured to young couples who are mostly under 30 years old. This is because they normally do not have the ability to decide what is right and what is wrong while the relationship problems are popping out. For example, the divorce rates among young couples was the highest in 2020 and it is also expected to rise in coming years.
All things considered, the problems that i mentioned above will still be rising until the legal age at which people can marry is changed. And also, the legal age to get married sholud be at least 26 years old so as to avoide educational failures and ustable relationships.
