In recent years, the family structure has changed, as well as family roles. What are the changes occurring? Do you think these changes are positive or negative?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

You should write at least 250 words.

As a modern society pay less attention to the family roles or structure, this is why it has changed. In this essay, will mention how does the family structure and role has changed and state of how these changes can be beneficial for us.

The first change that i would like to state would be that there are more and more women becoming the head of the family as they might be a single parent or have more power than father in the role of making decisions. This change has been a big step in our society as women have always seemed to be the one that left-out in making decisions or showing their opinions. Those change lead to a more gender equality where men and women can have equal right.

Moreover, in some family, there will be a family that lives separated due to different jobs and study abroad. For example, a father might work in the centre of the city, but the mother might work in another country; as a result , their children might choose to stay in with one of them. The idea of not living in one roof seems to be an odd idea for the last generation as the word 'family' liking to associate with living together. This change will be the one that makes family members have more opportunities for work and school, which might be more beneficial as higher paid or better curricular.

In conclusion, those are some of the significant changes that can be spot easily in a family; however, clearly those changes benefit not only society but also family members.
