It is a well established knowledge that wealth brings about a variety of previleges, however, which of these previliges matters the most is hotly debated subject and one popular answer is the ability to aid others. From my perspective, I agree with this opinion to a certain extent. Being able to help other people is important indeed but I believe that getting to live a good life is equally important.

Offering a helping hand is an essential part of being rich. It is a great act of humanity, kindness, and solidarity, but most importantly, it is a moral obligation in our culture and even our religion. Being rich does not bring happiness by necessity, However, being helpful to others generates emotions of self satisfacion that no money can buy. Providing a shelter for a poor family, for instance, or covering someone's medical expenses would bring joy and happiness to all parties involved, and no one can put a price tag on that.

On the other hand, being rich also allows for a better, safer, and more comfortable lifestyle, all of which are important aspects of life that one must enjoy and treasure. Having enough money gives you more freedom in managing your finances and allows you to try new business ideas as recovery is always possible if things do't work out. It also means that you do not have to check your balance before buying something from the supermarket of refueling your car.

Thus, from the points above, affording to help others and to live a comfortable life are both equally essential parts of wealth that can bring happiness and joy.
