There is no doubt that these days education plays a major role shaping children. The question is, would it be advisable to push youngsters to be competitive or teach them to be cooperative memebers of society. In this essay, I am going to discuss both view and draw my own conclusion.
In term of some views, living in a compatitive society demanding that we need to teach our childern the sense of competition in a positive way. The main reason given to support this claim is childern often become influenced by the people around them. To illustrate, encourging the new generation to be more creative and open mind open the doors for better opportunties in the future, in other word, some chilldren work hard in the study because they are competing with their classmates to recieve high marks.
However, encourging an impression of coorperation and interacting with other people could boost communication skills for childern as this would teach them how to establish relationships with others. Firstly, cooperation teaches youngsters sharing, in other word, they become more linked and brone to help in the future. Secondly, children could learn how to appreciate team spirit and value relationships. This is because surrounding them with circle of friends who they might need. Also, cooperation create bond and offer a healthier relationship with others.
In conclusion, although, teaching childern to coorperate and give them sense of competition have their pros and cons. Therefore, I believe that finding a way to ensure balancing both skills would achieve better results.
