Writing task 1

The following chart below illustrates the figure of Japanese citizens from 1950 to the present and the estimated populace until 2055. The table below provides information about the percentage of the populace between 1950 and 2055.

Overall, it is clear that Japan's community has grown steadily until 2005, and according to predictions, it will decrease sharply until 2055. There is no doubt that from 1950 to 2055, the figure for people aged 65 or older is expected to rise dramatically.

First, the community was 84.1 million, and it increased every year by approximately 1, 2 or 3 million, and it increased by 7 or 8 million once in a blue moon. As a result of such growth, the number of people reached 127.8 million in 2005. Then, for 15 years, this indicator dropped and in 2015 it fall to 125.4 million. In the next 40-year period, this figure is expected to dwindle to 89.9 million.

Second, from 1950 to 2005, the number of citizens over 65 increased dramatically from 4.1 million to 25.7 million. In other words, this means a rise in the percentage indicator from 4.9 % to 20.0 %. It is estimated that the population will increase by approximately 12 million, and the proportion indicator will increase by 14 % over the next 30-year period. By 2055, although the number of people over 65 years has decreased as a result of the decrease in the total population, their proportion has reached its peak of 41%.

Write about the following topic.

Psychologists have known for many years that colour can affect how people feel. For this reason, attention should be given to colour schemes when decorating places such as offices and hospitals.

You should write at least 250 words.

Writing task 2

In modern circumstances, the appliance of colour was obvious in interior designs. For many decades, researchers have argued that the aforementioned effect of colour is undeniable. Hence, many people believe that colour should be selected intentionally in decoration. As a matter of fact, this opinion can be proven as the right approach as well as its significant affection for our health and working productivity.

On the one hand, there is evidence to strengthen the accuracy of this phenomenon. Firstly, studying colours is the core subject in architectural programs compulsory to train building designers. Secondly, hospitals require specific wall paints for particular situations, such as cyan for surgeon areas. Specifically, this colour is the counterpoise of red in these types of schemes, therefore reducing the impact of blood’s image which causes fearsome to doctors and moreover, assisting the precision of the surgeon by highlighting the tint of internal organs.

On the other hand, an inhabitant's cognition heavily depends on the tint of the environment. In particular, spatial saturation can direct the emotions of its users in the way the architect intended. As an illustration, in order to reduce the consciousness of prisoners until they lost all resistance, the warders have invented a mental sentence namely “the white room” which is a completely blank white cell. On the contrary, colour can also be used in the office to boost the staff’s performance by imitating the appearance of nature. For instance, the green representing the forest was added to meeting places to soften the stress of debates while the blue appeared on the ceil to enhance the worker’s vision due to its similarity to the sky.

In conclusion, colour plays an integral part in the behaviours of humans. Hence it is essential for people to put their concentration on the choice of colour when establishing interior projects.
