The given chart and table are showing the trends and data of the population of japan over the years. In figure one, there is a graph showing the population growth and stability every five years. It is clear from the graph that the Japanese population kept on increasing from 1955 to 2005. This increase in population witness some stability from 2005 to 2010, and from 2010 onward the decrease in population can be witnessed. Moreover, it is predicted in the first figure that japan will continue this decreasing trend of population till 2055.
In figure 2, there is a table showing the stats about the population and percentage of the population of people of age 65 and above. It shows that in 1950 the population of people of age 65 and above was 4.1 million and the percentage was 4.9%. In the year 2005, this population rose to the numbers of 25.7 million and the percentage was 20. The next two rows are about the prediction of population growth and the percentage of elderly people.
