. smoking and phones both injurious

.smoking and phone less interaction with people

*unlike smoking, phones are advantegous

*connect with people

*helps if used for the right amount of time

Although people who smoke say they only do so because it helps them relax in some way or the other, the fact is it actually makes them distant from other people(non-smokers). Now, an arguement arises wether we should ban cellphones just like smoking is in several places. I partially agree with this and in this essay i will disscuss my viewpoint while giving relevant examples.

First and most importantly, both smartphones and cigarettes compromises the connections we have with people in our everyday lives. For instance, people who do not smoke do not look eye-to-eye with someone who smokes regularly and the same goes for people who are on their phones most of the time because they do not focus their energy on being with or interacting with other people which often results in a communication gap.As a result, a person feels more and more disconnected which leads to greater risks of mental as well as social health of an individual.Hence, it might beneficial if phones are banned in places suhch as cafes, restaurants and classrooms where people aim to interact.

However, banning mobiles might not be as fruitful as we think becuase unlike smoking, phones do have a lot of advantages and tons of benefits. They help in communicating with someone who lives far away and also keeps individuals updated with a wide variety of information. Furthermore, a mobile also helps in de-stressing and relaxing by watching videos or listening to music which has proven to be good for humans.

To conclude, both smoking and phones are quite anti-social and banning them in a particular area might reward humanity. Nonetheless, phones are comparitively useful if only used for the right time at the right place.
