The diagram below shows some design principles for an energy-efficient house and how they work in different climates.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

 Writing Task 1

The picture illustrates the blueprint of an energy-efficient house and working process in different weather. The house component will comprise the roof, wall and the underground protection. The component will be modified in different way depend on the outcome you want it to be.

In warm climate, the reflective roof covering will reflect the sunlight off, preventing the heat from the sun to overheat the house, likewise, the house also has underground floor heat protection that can prevent transmission of heat from the underground flow of heat up into the house, thus making the house temperature not rising too high.

In cold climate, the roof covering is changed into a triple-glazed to allow the sunlight to shine into the house, the underground protection willbe removed so that the house will be constantly receiving heat from the underground flow of heat. Furthermore, the wall is insulated, preventing internal heat to from leaving and retend it in the house.

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Once children enter school, teachers have more influence on their intellectual and social developments than parents.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

You should write at least 250 words.

Some people state that when children start to enrolled in schools, teachers affect children's intelligent and social development more than parents. I agree with them, whereas some people do not, claiming that parents will have more influence than teacher because the children still live with parents and spending more time with parents.

looking at their reasons, it is not unfathomable reasons because most parents really spend more time with their children and are more intimate with the children than the teachers, thus they should influence their children more than the teachers.

On the other hand, there are several reasons that teachers will have more influence on children too. First, every teacher have to be qualified in order to teach in a school, they are not some random people the school hired from the internet. Having these qualificating means they have a considerable knowledge and a techniques to teach each particular subject to their pupils, for examples, a chemistry teacher would certainly be able to teach chemistry better than most parents, therefore they should have more influence on children intellectual. Looking at the social aspects, teachers are playing the role of mentors when children interact at schools, which is the most time children are seeing a person at their age, when children have conflicts at schools, it would surely be the teachers to handle that conflicts, that should make teacher have more influnce on children's social development.

To conclude, I fully agree that teachers have more influnce on children because they are qualified, and they are mentoring children when they are interacting.
