Children are often receptive to new learning experiences and they usually learn most of it at school and at home. For me teachers play a very important role in improving children's social and academic skills to a great extent. However we cannot deny the role of parents.
I believe that well-trained teachers will help students to develop all-round knowledge and social skills. Teachers are people who are in daily contact with children, guide their learning and create conditions for them to participate in common activities to have the opportunity to interact with other classmates. Moreover, through a competition or a fun session, teachers can stimulate children's imagination and creativity to help them have good skills. In addition, children can also discover new things to learn and understand their own abilities to help them become more confident.
On the other hand, education from parents is also very necessary for children. Parents are the first and regular contact of children, through daily life children can learn a lot of things from parents. They are the first to help children learn about new things in life, how to behave politely with people. In addition, parents are the ones who help children learn how to walk and speak, so they have a great influence on the formation and development of the child's personality. Especially parents can become the role models for their children in many social situations.
In conclusion, I believe that teachers have an important role to play in improving children's intellectual and social skills, but to some extent, parents also play an integral role.
